Go on, one last goal  ;D
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Full time - Bradford 2-4 Guiseley.

Guiseley have five games remaining. If they manage at least seven points from those then we can't catch them.

Think they have won it tonight, hopefully we can knick in to get 2nd and hope BPA drop form here on in.

Oh and above is SEVEN FROM FOUR GAMES when they come up against us on Saturday  ;D

Hopefully those 2 defeats would have knocked the confidence and belief out of Bradford, and they'll slump from now on.

Big game on Saturday now, must win.

I hope you guys stuff Guiseley on Saturday. But careful Walshaw, the main striker for Guiseley falls over very easy off none or minimal contact. Also, the main tactic of Guiseley is to foul and stifle our play.

I have to say I'm surprised at the League Table. Bradford were lucky to scrape a point against us at their place, but I thought they were probably the best side we'd played all season at York Street. But I really wasn't that impressed at all by Guiseley when we played them at their place. (We won 3-1 with two goals from Danny Sleath). On that showing alone, I thought they were more mid-table than title contenders.

I don't really think we were ever going to win the league. While it was always possible that one out of BPA or Guiseley might have "blown up" it was always unlikely they both would. If it has to be promotion through the play-offs,so be it,there's no-one there we should be scared of.Home advantage would be great though, with a decent crowd and a good pitch to play on.While i'd fancy our chances home or away, some of those away pitches would make it something of a lottery.

Just tried to predict the remaining games and I get it to be the following going into the last day of the season.................

Guiseley     79
BPA             77
BUFC           76
NFU             69
Retford        64
Kendal         62

Lot's of ifs buts and maybes, could and will probably be quite different.
Guiseley's run in looks the hardest with BPA's the most straight forward.
Our's is pretty tough, not least the last day away against Marine, but if we win each game before that it could quite easily be.........

BUFC            76
Guiseley        76
BPA               74
With the title in our own hands.

This would mean Guiseley only taking 3 from 9 points out of Matlock away, Marine at home and Frickley away. Might be slightly hopeful, but not at all impossible.
