MGPA......New sponsor to Boston United.
« on: April 08, 2010, 11:05:46 AM »
MGPA (private equity real estate investment advisory company) are the sponsors to tonights sportsmans dinner.

Why?

They currently manage US$11 billion in assets throughout Asia & Europe so why bother with little Boston United?

The funds and clients they advise invest in the following types of real estate:

Office;
Residential;
Industrial;
Logistics, distribution and warehousing;
Retail;
Developments and redevelopments;
Hotels and resorts;
Brownfields, greenfields and masterplans.

Is this where the funding is coming from for the new stadium/hotel/sports complex?

The ideal deal size for these guys starts at US$75 million (£50million) Thats one big stadium  ;)

So many questions.............

One of their employees is originally from Boston but lives near Northampton.

He and his son are season ticket holders and on a personal level he is a good supporter of the club.

Hope that answers the question and stops any conjecture.
