Matches Off.

With all last nights matches in Unibond cancelled, what are the chances that the
league may get dispensation to extend the season to accommodate the cancelled
matches, especially as the bad weather seems to be continuing over Easter. ???

Funnily enough, I asked Craig the same question this morning and he is as sure as he can be that the league will not be extended.

it would be unlikely but in the event of really bad weather over the next week or so making it really difficult for teams to fullfill there league fixtures then the league might not have any choice.has it ever happened before does anyone know ??

The Midland League got extended in 1962/3 after snow stopped lots of games taking place for two months!

The following season had a bit of fixture congestion at the end as well - including two games for Boston United on one day - but it wasn't extended.

Was that John Blackwell in goal for the Sutton match in 1964? :bunny  Ken this is a serious question I know John was Lincs county goal keeper for a time.
