If we are safe second and have nothing to play for at Marine then we may as well send the 1st team, if we're in with a shout of the title then send the entire youth team, with full body armour.

The graders apparantly visited some weeks ago and as long as a further 100 seats, 40m of terrace cover and a turnstyle were moved to allow segregation then we'd be OK.  It is happening as we speak but who knows.  Thing I find most frustrating is that we've had the best part of a season here and it's worked perfectly well, we're around 7th in the average attendances at barely 350,  whatever you think of it, it is  totally fit for purpose at this level.

YS is obviously for a higher level where you belong.  Whatever I think about the rubbish spoken after our games I still don't like to see large fan bases punished with demotion due to financial reasons.

While teams keep spending beyond their means and bigger sides tumble through the divisions (something that will always happen) the little clubs will always need bigger facilities than their average crowd to accomadate these bigger games.  With Halifax and Chester possibly heading this way soon, I think it is right that the league stick to its grading scheme.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Oh yeah!  ;D

But i meant if we were out of the title race and had second secured, but chances are everything, even the play-off places will go down to the last day, we could have a 3 way title decider on the final day, now you dont get that in the premiership

As I have said on another topic my prediction if BPA and Guisely keep going as they are is that we finish 3rd and Retthug will finish outside the play off zone. Before I get abuse, yes It would be terrific to win the league and I would cheer as loud as everyone else but to win we need BPA and Guisely to slip up. I do believe though that we could win all our remaining games  because there is no doubt we have the best team in the league but sometimes *hit happens.

The title is for others to lose rather than our to win. If BPA & Guisley manage to draw with each other twice we are still looking at other teams doing us a favour and beating them

We are too far away from a mathematical certainty for the play-offs yet so that must be our first priority.

As for the cup final - put the Under 10's out. Even Retthug wouldn't kick kids would they?

I see the game is £10, is that cos we might take more than 3 men and a dog?

Thats a lot of bubbly for the Northern Premier end of season ball.

Money gets shared between the 2 clubs minus expenses etc....

£10 is due to your guys normal admission price :'(

Can't be arsed to chase details but I don't think we've paid full price for Unidump cup games this year yet?

I rather pay a tenner to stand in The Jakeman stadium than a fiver to stand  exposed to the elements watching thugs on a ploughed field at Cannon Park.

Its nothink to do with us. its set out by the guys in the suits at an amount that they feel will cover cost and still allow both teams a half decent prize
