*Fee for Pearson to go to a tribunal
*Grimsby originally submitted an offer for Pearson on June 9th
*Boston saw the fee as far too low and suggested a new figure, but Grimsby would not budge from the original offer
*Regarding the impending court case over compensation for the departure of Scott & Hurst, Grimsby have until July 7th to register their defence

I think the evidence we need to use at the tribunal are quotes from Scott and Hurst about highly they rated him here!

Very similar story on the BBC site...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/9523821.stm

... The BBC do need to improve their maths though. Pearson was born in April 1989, meaning he turned 22 a couple of months ago. So why do the BBC refer to him as a 23-year old? Could this be a ploy from someone at Blundell Park, looking to advance Shaun beyond his years? If they can get him to be reported at 24 by the time the tribunal comes around, they won't need to pay for him!

I'm not fussed how much we get for him, as long as they kick up enough fuss to make Pinky and Perky have to wait to get their man.  They do seem to be pinning their hopes on taking a team made up of promotion players from the BSN to build a team capable of getting out of the BSP.  There are some big hitters in that division, graft and strength that was enough in our division and below may not be enough.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.
