Sounds like Aaron has decent pedigree. Being based in rural Lincolnshire it is always going to cause problems attracting players. Also sounds more and more likely that Hall will sign. Having a base squad of around 16 (plus Barlow, Sanders and Smythe for the u21's) and using loans to cover injuries is probably the best idea with a lot of the squad travelling from away. Better to have a smaller happy squad who are all involved than having 20 plus first teamers.

I cannot see Barlow just playing for the U21s, he's on a 1-year contract!

Yeah I had high hopes when he signed but from the pre season matches I have seen he hasn't looked the finished article.

Sanders is on a contract but though seriously muscling up over the summer he too has failed to take his opportunity

Greene has signed for Brentford so missed out on that one. Still need another winger then.
