Very disappointing IMO. Sure he realises most fans think well of him.
Thought the atmosphere for tonight's game was superb, Townenders give yourselves a pat on the back. Even though we lost it was well worth attending.
Agree with bb1. Good atmosphere created by townenders. Well done everyone.More of that for the next game please. Great second half atmosphere only spoiled by being mugged.

If the entertainment on the pitch isn't up to scratch I usually have a look in the programme. It's guaranteed to entertain. In the latest edition, due to the quiz, I've learned that an anagram of Ryan Giggs is........... Saggy Ring. Robin van Persie............. A Bin Perversion. What more entertainment do you want?

Whether the above is true or not true, the "second best" means absolutely nothing. Mourinho wasn't available either was he? so are they 3rd best?
As I said, they chose the best manager/managers they could and I for one have confidence that they chose correctly.
I think it's plain to see that some will want them to succeed and some will not.

And about welsh, he inherited what people say a poor squad and the two new managers have got their own players. IMO i thought welshy clearly showed passion for the club and i wished he'd been given a chance with his own players. Even "last years squad" beat these.
How do you work that out then
Last years team never reached higher than 9th in the league all season. This years, so far, have never been lower than 8th (if I've got my stats. right).
Lost just one game so far.

As for Steve, I think most people have great respect for him, think that he's a great bloke and superb at what he does with the Youth set-up. The fact remains that N&K had to select the best manager/managers they could to take BUFC forward. Their decision making so far seems to be exemplary and they chose H&S. I personally have seen no reason to doubt that, over this season, they have got it wrong.

My prediction....6-0 to BUFC wasn't based on any disrespect to Loughborough just a belief that, whatever team we put out today, H&S will get a reaction from them. Plus the 3 suspensions that were likely.
I wish that Leicester Pilgrim hadn't reminded me about that Brigg match though. I've tried to wipe that from my memory for years.

Didn't think there was much wrong with the first half. Not super exciting but did most things right. Defence worked well and squeezed up, stopped them playing, had plenty of possession and I thought that Davidson looked very sharp.
Second half though was totally different. Matlock kept the ball, pulled us wide left and right and dominated throughout. We just didn't seem to have any answers.
