if we end up with an out of town stadium our attendances are likely to suffer, as alot of our support tend to be OAPs who may be put of traveling through bostons hidious traffic twice and not being able to enjoy a few drinks.
imagine over a 1000 cars trying to get down tattershall road at the same time.

love to have a good cup run, but i dout we will win it with our small and injured squad. personally i think we could get to the quarter finals which would be a good cash boost. the benefit of being outside the top league is that the top clubs are more interested in getting to the football league and may dismiss the tropthy and play a weakened side.

nantwich's ground was a total rip-off. 3.75million for that is a joke. if its 6.6 for york street with the car park, then over a 100 appartments could be built on the car park to fund the loan on the purchase. obviously we do not know the ins and outs of he financies involved but with the right investment getting back york street might not be such a tuff deal. new stadiums tend to be like morgues these days and could have a neggative affect on the club.

The B-Ark / highlights
« on: January 08, 2011, 11:23:43 AM »
earlier on in the season its announced that the club is looking in to providing match highlights. does anyone know if this is going to happen?
telford have highlights of all their matches available on youtube in hd. it would be great to be able to see some of ours, especially when we can't get to the games.

The B-Ark / what are they upto?
« on: January 04, 2011, 06:27:47 PM »
according to the united website the conference officials have re-re-arranged the gainsborough fixture. problem being, they have put it between the alfreton and telford fixtures. why have they got involved? why change it at all? and why between the 2 biggest games of the season.?

smell a rat anyone?

some interesting comments. personally i think the managers are still getting to know the bsn and much of what they are doing is trial and error. on that note you could say we are in a brilliant position in the table and things can only progress forward. still early days, but if we don't make it through the play-offs then next season could be an even more rosy story.

alot of the good results that we have got this season are down to good defending and keeping clean sheets, but you cannot keep that up for a whole season. i think swd is better than this league and should be scoring more. maybe its the service, or lack of it.
of the games i have got to this season the match at droylsden showed a prime example why we are not scoring. formation and tactics used in that game were very negative and was not seen in any matches the previous season.

1 win in last 6 league games is not exactly play-off contender material. only scored 4 in them 6 games. why are we not scoring???????????

Shame we couldn't look dangerous from the beginning. We do seem to have lost the knack of scoring goals, enough to win the game that is.
taking away the games against redditch and harrogate, we are only average 1 goal per game but have conceded 9 in the 3 games which we have lost. when we lose we lose bad but when we have won its only just. does this mean that if we have a bad day defensively we gonna lose, or is it we just can't score.
