Suarez for me, won everything in the air. Hheld and passed the ball well. And chased down defenders.

Looks a promising partnership with swd

Bar Durham. I don't think any game is proving either easy or hard. It all depends on which team turns up and that goes for us and the opposition.
No one can say any team is consistant. Apart from durham that is.

Whilst they field 11 players who decides the rights and wrongs of them being in the league.
For me there are nearly 40 league games so I don't think Durham will be an issue, unless of course we loose to them, then I will be calling for their removal!

WP. Looks like we where both watching the same game for a change!

Totally agree  with your summary

I was very disappointed with swd. He got caught off side far too often. The linesman was shocking he should have flagged more times than he did!

Don't think stocksbridge where that good. But on the day they where much better than us

I am sure we can get decent result saturday and onwards again

It is certainly a fascinating league

it seems that every team that goes top then goes into self destruction and can't hold any form. Let's hope we are different

as we have got less than 2 points a game on average. It's obvious that any run of form by a side will lift them towards the top. It's imperative we say consistant and maintain the advantage.

Even in October it's key we make some headroom. As they say it's now ours to loose.

Looking forward to the trip to stocksbridge

Why not ply thommo with some beer and crisps and he will sit on stage all night blabbering on and no  doubt keeping the crowd entertained. Certainly have a few stories to tell

The players idea is a good one

I remember 10 years ago walking into a a pub in sutton in ashfield and they where doing a q&a session with two old pros. John Robertson and Paul Hart. Look at the latter now! the pub was rammed it was for a local Sunday football club fund raiser.
A great evening. I know we do the sportsman dinner but that isn't always within the financial reaches of many
