Vince; Mills, Watson, Piergianni, Reynolds; McGhee, Dowie, Marshall, Steer; Garner, Southwell.

SUBS: Barlow, Smythe, Meadows, Hollingsworth, Fallah.

Looks like a few non-contract forms have been signed

I believe at the AGM the following was agreed:

Hereford United go then Chester and Hayes & Yeading get the nod
Salisbury City go then Dartford and Tonbridge Angels get the nod

It appears tonbridge should be reprieved

Story 1 - http://www.bostonstandard.co.uk/news/local/quadrant-developer-set-to-submit-quadrant-plans-and-promises-they-are-better-1-6028403

This article is full of spelling and grammatical mistakes - "With think that", "flodlights", "agrement". Historically there was always a requirement for a decent standard of literacy to get into journalism. Don't they have spelcheckers any more? Don't they employ poof readers?

No. A bit like you really

Whilst watching the better half run this morning I noticed an ex Utd player doing the run barefoot!

He managed to do it in 45:51!

Would be a major coup to have marrs at club next season but after speaking to his dad at harrogate last week. He is being tracked by Championship clubs and will be going on trial in the summer so I can't see him being with us...

As did Indy and he's struggling to get in the first team

'ere Soots, are you saying that you advised Dennis, in confidence, that he should start signing on when he went to Histon?  :o  ??? ??? ???

I think he is trying to say that he advised Den that he shouldn't be signing on?!

"All I can say is.....well done for taking the advice given (sarcasm?!?) in confidence when we met at the Histon Fans forum upon your arrival Dennis. Twit."

Den says there was an overlap in between taking the histon job and informing the benefits office, how long was the overlap to accrue £6k? I'm guessing we're not talking a week or two!

The B-Ark / Re: No Six Please, we're Gainsborough......
« on: February 03, 2014, 08:14:17 PM »
As usual with a scoreline like this it was a combination of us being really good and Gainsborough being really bad. The defending for the 2nd goal was shocking!

"Defending" for the sixth was straight out of the book of Bloomer and Albrighton!

Thought he did well, for our second he could have blown up as their player was in the box injured, albeit a leg one, many refs would have blown up he didn't so fair play. He could have flashed a few cards but fair play to both teams no dramas.

Certainly couldn't have been Mr Dudley, as anyone who went to Guiseley would testify, because he was more than happy to stop play for a dead leg, when Boston were on top (I'm not still bitter!  ;))

the merry go round continues -   ian dudley again.   so thats at home against Telford, home against Barrow,  away against Guiseley and now home against Solihull.   and we only just over halfway through season.

the ref we had at Guiseley... oh dear!

What's the betting there is a Solihull penalty?  :dan

Looking at DG's signings throughout the season, there have been more hits than misses

Ashley Timms: Partial hit - did well in the early season lost his way somewhat
Lewis King: Hit - good shot stopper
Peter Bore: Partial hit - did well in the early season lost his place & moved on
Stefan Galinski: Hit - still young Centre-half - good back-up
Scott Garner: Hit - Top class Centre-half for CN
Liam Marrs: Hit - good attacking fullback
Carl Piergianni: Hit - Top class Centre-half for CN
Netan Sansara: Partial hit - did well in the early season lost his place and was shipped off
Rene Steer: Hit - good attacking fullback
Gary Mills: Miss - never fit & moved on
Indy Aujla: Hit - good midfielder for CN
Jake Hall: Partial hit - did well in the early on, travelling obviously took its toll
Ricky Miller: Hit - half the season gone and already into double figures

I think given time DG has brought together a good group of players, it will be interesting to see how Dixon, McGhee, Agnew & Semps get on in the coming weeks.

Craig has tweeted about an afternoon of "comings and goings"

Who is in the goings? Timms? Fairclough?
