It's The Pilgrim Lounge Function Suite.

Well nobody got it so we don't have a winner but I hear the special opening promotion is 50p a pint from 11.00am Saturday until 10.30pm Sunday or until stocks run out.

United sign winger Kirk
30 Jun 2009

Boston United have completed the signing of highly-rated winger Tyrone Kirk from UniBond Division One South neighbours Stamford.

From Stamford forum

it says i have signed for boston what i have actually done is agreed to go there if i havent signed for a pro club by august 8 im training with a club next week so fingers crossed it works out there for me.

Now to my way of thinking one of those statements are untrue, IF it is actually Kirk that wrote the second one then it needs some one from the club to clarify to the fans wether we have or have not signed Kirk. Over to you Cookie.

We make an official statement to say one thing and a unknown on a chat forum says another and we doubt our official statement!! Too much sun I think.

Could it be possible that both are correct, we have signed Tyrone Kirk but he has a clause in his contract* letting him talk to a pro club if one come in for him. If this is the case we have a player with a lot of ambition on the way up that will be trying to impress in the shop window.

*EDIT: Agreement with the club verbal or otherwise.

Just watched Murray steam roller Ferrero to go into the semis and the mainia is certainly starting now. It surprises me how many people that no nothing about tennis have become experts!!

Can he win the tournament? I say maybe.

Will he win the tournament? I say NO.

I'm sure he'll lose to Federer in the final.

like a boy playing with men

Exactly, he was playing above his development because of the position Welsh found himself in, no commited players. Played youth and first team matches on the same day!

A dissapointment for me to see him leave, great attitude and the potential to go on and be a lot better than we had seen. These kids will be the future of the club and we should be going that bit further to keep them. We only need one to be a bit above average and the financial rewards will be great.

Good luck Mitch.

Ouch!
If we call it THE MICHAEL JACKSON SUITE we can run a creche in their in the day and let the kids play in him for a change. We could get sponsorship from a supermarket for this because he isn't being buried or creamated he's being recycled into carrier bags so he can remain white plastic and a danger to kids.

Sorry  :-[

I'll bring it back on topic,

Whats the difference between Michael Jackson and Alex Ferguson?

Fergie will be playing Giggs in August.

I think we are missing the point here. We are looking to rename the best social venue in the area. Surely we need words like "suite" or "lounge" in the title*.

Think Dubai not Blackpool.

......something different.

Had a sneak preview of the refurbished sports bar and this is going to be a bit special. Looks like they have spent more on the refurbish than what a new build would have cost!!!

I really think we should rename it when it's opened. THE SPORTS BAR sounds like some English beach bar in benidorm when really it's going to be more like a plush 19TH hole on a Portugese golf resort.

Heres a few names to get us going:

The Ernest Malkinson Suite. (maybe does not quite slip of the tounge!)

The Craig Singleton Lounge. ( he seems to be the new thing so lets name the bar after him  ;) )

Cookies Cave.

I'm sure if the club take the idea on there will be a prize for the winner. :)
