Apparently a councillor on the planning committee hasn't got a clue what's going on down there! Just seen a tweet!
Out of the planning committee hands when its been passed . unless a football fan why should they be interested .
First of all thanks for all the replies. Im pleased I asked this as it seems there is a lot of unanswered questions.
I've highlighted the quote above because the planning department will still have involvement. A project doesn't just get approved and then the planners have no more input. That just isn't the case. At various stages of the development the building offices come to the site to check the work and there guys are part of the planning department. ie. Before the drainage is all concerted over the quality of work to the services ( water mains , drainage , electric and gas are inspected first. The same as a new house would for example.
With regards the gap in funding can't the stadium be half built to minimum standard and one side be left but like Oxford did at first.
Im pretty sure as well if the development wasn't done in time it was stated Boston towns ground would only need minimal work to make it conf North standard and Boston town have said they would ground share short term.
The lads who go watch us away is Boston towns ground much lesser of a standard than some in our league??
But some of these quotes and points were made a while ago so I don't know if it all still valid.
