The B-Ark / Willis and Rollins both sign new contracts.

As title says. CE obviously has faith in Willis and Rollins is very effective on both wings and as a central striker. So a very good signing too.

If we had won Saturday we would be 3 points off the play offs and we would be 9th. Tuesday nights performance shows what the lads are capable of. Equally so did Saturdays second half performance for the opposite reasons!!!!

Its a shame really as both Chorley and Spennymoor lost in the week.

IMHO we are certainly going the right way under the new manager. From second bottom in the league to 6 points off the play offs is a great improvement.

The B-Ark / New ground update.
« on: November 14, 2016, 09:08:03 PM »
I've googled it and I can't find any new info.

I see the roundabout is complete.

There doesn't seem to be any info on the ground work starting in the public domain or on the o/s site, Google or the this forum.

Any body know any thing about the progress or lack of progress.

Thanks

Richie.

The B-Ark / Absolute disgtace in the town end today.
« on: November 12, 2016, 04:00:38 PM »
If you've got personal issues with the manager then indicate it before the game or after. I can't see what the gain is while the game is being played. It certainly doesn't do the players any favours ..

Disgusting.

Also some of our 'fans' cheering the second goal as part of their vendetta towards Greene is pathetic.

Whether your pro Greene or not there's no need for it. Personal insults as well. DO YOU KISS YOUR MOTHER WITH THEM LIPS!!!!

Game wise at half time Brackley score from their first two attacks and a referee watching a completely different game. How our 2 players got yellow carded while their number 3 escaped one I will never know.

I expect more strange decisions and Brackley time wasting second half.

The B-Ark / The Return to fitness of Nat Brown or a new centre back.
« on: September 15, 2016, 01:16:27 PM »
As the title suggests.

My opinion for what it's worth. Maguire is a good centre back who in my opinion would turn into an excellent centre back with an experienced centre back partner.

Either we need Nat Brown to return to match finess and play it we should be looking for another experienced defender.

Ie. A Kevin Austin, Stuart Balmer, Alan White style experienced centre half.

Anyone know when Nat Brown is back. ?

The B-Ark / Alex Simmons

Back with us on a one month loan. I thought he was good last season for the few games I saw him. Surprised we have got him back.
1/ he was involved with Lincoln
 2/ wasn't expecting a striker.

The B-Ark / Goalkeeper situation.
« on: August 10, 2015, 12:14:47 AM »
Last year we lost points due to many things over the season with one major issue being the goalkeeper department before the two Sunderland keepers arrived.

Den said that for this season he was going to get a permanent experienced keeper in if he couldn't get Max back.

In an interview he said he couldn't get Max back for the full season and a three months loan was the only offering for him by Sunderland. Fair enough.

However,

As we haven't signed an experienced keeper, in fact we've signed a lad younger than Sam Vince  I feel he hasn't deliveried. Up until now I have trusted Den's judgement and I sincerely hope he is right with Ravas ( good luck to the lad) and I really hope I'm wrong but if he isn't good enough may be we should of got Max on the 3 month loan and then it would of given Den three more months to search for a keeper or better still max be able to stay on.

I hope I'm wrong and I trust Den to have got a good keeper for the season on loan. Let's see where we are in 10 games.

The B-Ark / Boston United v Vauxhall Motors
« on: August 20, 2011, 05:16:46 PM »
I went to watch Boston on Tuesday night v Histon and was impressed and thought the side could only get better with only one player that stood out to be completely out of his depth. I thought first game of the season give him a change. Today we were absolute dros and said player shouldn't ever play for Boston United ever again. We did improve in the second half which wasnt difficult. I'm afraid on that performance we are back to the Tommy Taylor days. Kevin Austin MOTD, with a few others like Jellyman, Milne  slightly improving second half. Milly played o.k but overall hugely dissapointed and frustrated.  >:(
