The B-Ark / Re: Bank Holiday Weekend Games
« on: August 23, 2018, 10:04:14 PM »
Just out of interest if we manage to win the next 2 games it would mean before the end of August we could have 2 points more than what we had at the beginning of December last season.

Just let that sink in.

We could potentially be 3 months better off than last season if we beat both Spennymoor and BPA..

On paper a brilliant signing.

Jonny Margetts.

Football isn't played on paper.

No wonder you get so much grief your way. I'm pretty confident every single person who read my post knows exactly what I meant.

It a football cliche you Stoke City Firm wannabe.

I would love for us to resign Hemmings and Clifton and sign Thompson.

As title says. CE obviously has faith in Willis and Rollins is very effective on both wings and as a central striker. So a very good signing too.

If we had won Saturday we would be 3 points off the play offs and we would be 9th. Tuesday nights performance shows what the lads are capable of. Equally so did Saturdays second half performance for the opposite reasons!!!!

Its a shame really as both Chorley and Spennymoor lost in the week.

IMHO we are certainly going the right way under the new manager. From second bottom in the league to 6 points off the play offs is a great improvement.

According to the Shaw Lane O/S we have paid compensation for both players.

The B-Ark / Re: LEE BEEVERS...

I don't understand why we didn't go for him. Last season before his injury Cowley said he was the first we on his team sheet. From what I've seen of a CE team and what CE expects of a player Lee Beevers would of been an ideal fit.

Anybody been or heard anything. All I know is the starting line up, subs and goalscorer.

Be very interested on people who have been tonight's opinions.

That could only have positives to it. As long as any agreement didn't include Boston taking on loans of certain players and having to shoe horn them into the team.
