Managers have been sacked by their clubs this season for trying to engineer a move to another club and yet Evans comes out and brags about it.

A few raised eyebrows at Crawley this afternoon because star striker Charles Ademeno was not in the starting line up, apparently sick.

Crawley been trying to off load Ademeno for weeks now so you can i magine what sort of contract he has in his top pocket, remember Andy Kirk?

Lee Hughes did not make the starting line up at Notts County this afternoon after County were making noises about moving some high earners on in midweek.

Could it be a case of you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours?

Seems they are trying to raise money any way they can and there has been an aire of desperation in recent weeks.

We all know how lardy loud mouth attracts players with lucrative contracts and then they have to be off-loaded after Christmas. The same seems to be happening there with the high earners being the first out the door.

I think they have history with the tax man though and he will probably not be too sympathetic this time around.

Well, Trew sounded less than convincing to me and I reckon that there could be a scenario in the making at Notts County that we have seen before, even been part of.

Trew stated emphatically that Rodwell had no part in the demise at Boston United. What he did not offer forward was any evidence to back up his bold statement. A cynic might ask, what did you expect him to say?

He stated that the debt at Notts County now stood at £6 million, now that is a fair wedge to find when you are not the main attraction in town.

If the creepies only got 688 for a home match they soon going to be heading up hsit creek with the size of contracts that Jimmy Crankie hands out.

If there is not a plan in place he will no doubt be adding Robwell to his speed dial and reminding him of when they were a double act.

Latest reports are suggesting the police are now threatening a boycott of Saturdays game because of an unpaid invoice, and I don't mean Sting and his mates.

So no police - no match.

From the players point of view, it seems they getting repeated promises of getting their wages only for that broken at the last minute.

Looks like their are going to be more fans in the car park than in the Stadium at the next home game although the BBC are already listing next Sundays derby against Wrexham as OFF.

Things ain't looking good at The Deva.

I was told that he was playing in midfield, where we all know what his qualities are, more of a spoiler rather than an architect, with no chance of displacing any of the regular defence.
