The B-Ark / Re: Warning to Boston Public-The Sun Today O/T

Just goes to show what a justice system we have got when life means six years with a nice little earner included as a bonus.

It beggars belief what is in store if "hug an hoody" gets in power.

Its beginning to look like Retford could get edged out of the promotion race completely so they will be all out for this one.

On the other hand we can ill afford to take to the field next Saturday with a weakened  side with so much riding on the result so I too predict a much changed side for this one.

Boston 0-3 Retford

I may be wrong but I seem to remember reading an article a while back that centred on Manchester United being on the brink of serious financial melt down and the reason was much of their debt is with foriegn banks who could recall their loans at any time.

Fear ye not though, there is one rule for Manchester United and one that covers all the rest.

Oh err, Mrs, looks like she has been reading the Evans manual of attempting to get people to like you.

Resign one day and then declare your love of the club and its supporters is too much of a wrench.

Either that or she is aware that the brown stuff is about to hit the fan.

If she was that good a business person she would have long since realised that the customer base at Crawley footbal club is evaporating because of ONE person and his BROTHER.

It looks as though a god strong wind off the east coast has resited the grandstand and if you are unlucky enough to get a ticket for the wrong end you are not even overlooking the pitch,  ::)  :dan

The B-Ark / Re: Jim Rodwell in Notts County takeover?
« on: February 26, 2010, 02:50:21 PM »
Evans makes the Guardian's Digger column again....when does this 'what goes around comes around' thing  kick in? I want to see him fall on his arse not feature in broadsheets.

When Digger asked Notts County about Steve Evans's claim that he had been offered the manager's job by the chief executive, Jim Rodwell, the club's new owner Ray Trew sought swiftly to distance his club from Evans, who was given a suspended jail sentence for tax fraud relating to secret playing contracts at Boston United. Rodwell and Evans are old chums after a partnership as director of football and manager, respectively, at the Lincolnshire club. "Whilst Mr Evans continues to maintain contact with the chief executive, who is a personal friend, their conversations have not involved any talk of offering Mr Evans a position here at Notts County."

Well, somebody is a little liar then because the special one, as he likes to be known now, is telling all and sundry a completely different tale.
