Anybody heard anything about Kings Lynn? Rumours are they're in a bit of money trouble.

My first game for quite a while, shame we couldn't hang on.
Chorley were a well organised side, they passed the ball well,  and had some very good players. There's no shame drawing with a team as good as they were.

The days of Chris Cook, Martin Hardy, and Bazza are, I'm afraid long gone. We'll never see the likes of them again, agents have put paid to that. As for Danny Elliott how many goals did he score that wasn't from penalties.

It all revolves around money, I would  say. It's like Christmas, you have wishes but not all of them come to fruition.

It's worth a punt, unless of course they, as in Stockport want him to play at a higher level than we are.

I can see a few more leaving yet.
Did they try and get Billy Chadwick back on loan from Stockport, he's on loan at Gateshead and not getting game time.

Not surprised, half the team followed ex manager to Aldershot.
They had some excellent players last season, players like them take some replacing.

Lots of these little clubs could go under. The travelling expenses for players, and clubs is no doubt playing its part. Once most villages had a Saturday and Sunday side.

Is it at all possible that Scunthorpe could go to the wall?
For the supporters sake I hope this doesn't happen.

Didn't he score a couple of goals last season?
He was playing in a very average side too.

Bang on, I can't say as I blame them either. 33/34 and being offered that sort of money, 3 years over there and you and your family a set for life.

Didn't go yesterday but during the season I've found the service to be good. Maybe with pre season staffing levels are low because of holidays etc. With regards to the real ale, total agreement. The current offerings are shocking. Oh for the days of Batemans and Spitfire ale at York Street.

When I've been to Ellenders for a meal I never have a pulled beer, I stick to bottled Peroni, if it's available.
Get some Doom Bar on tap, they sell it at the Endeavour,  excellent beer.

I didn't go as I'm in Kings Lynn for the weekend.  I did follow on twitter, I wish I hadn't bothered, we seemed very poor to say the least.
It's pre season, we've all seen plenty of them, they're either very good or very poor.

I think Scunthorpe will upset several teams this coming season.
They must be favourites to win the league.
