The B-Ark / The new ground.
« on: August 09, 2015, 08:34:40 AM »
I keep hearing differing reports about it. Some say, it's all good and will be started soon. Others are now telling me, it's on hold as it's got to be approved yet again.
Can anyone clear this up and tell me the truth please.

The B-Ark / Ricky Miller.
« on: June 03, 2015, 04:03:47 PM »
Former Luton Town striker Ricky Miller has been charged with five offences in connection with a racially-aggravated assault on a taxi driver.

Mr Miller, 26, of Valence End, Dunstable, was arrested following an alleged incident in Hockliffe, Bedfordshire, in April.

He will appear at Luton Magistrates' Court later this month.

A second Luton Town player, Shaun Whalley, who was also arrested, will face no further action.

Mr Miller, who played as a striker for the League Two side, had his contract terminated "following an internal investigation into a breach of club discipline", a spokesman for the side said.

He faces one count of racially-aggravated common assault and one count of assault by beating.

The footballer has also been charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke violence and one count of racially aggravated use of threatening words or behaviour.

What a silly boy!!

The B-Ark / John Terry.
« on: June 01, 2015, 12:53:53 PM »
John Terry is to sign for Leicester City after watching the club’s official racist sex tape on YouTube.

As the twenty-minute clip went viral, football fans everywhere learned exactly what it is that enables Leicester players to stay up.

The Chelsea stalwart hopes that by joining the Foxes on a free transfer, he can once again indulge his twin passions of shagging and occasional racism.

Lesser known Chelsea squad member Simon Williams said, “One of the men in the video can be heard using a racist insult against a woman”.

“John has watched that bit five times.”

“This is the definitive proof that you can eat Walkers Crisps and be a racist.”

Terry is said to be looking for a new challenge, and passing on his special set of skills to Leicester youngsters looking to find their way in the game is said to be too good to go down.

A source close to Terry said, “John has spent 20 years perfecting the racial insult and sexual misdemeanour.”

“So it would be a massive shame if that talent was left to go to waste on Chelsea’s bench next season.”

Asked to comment on the tape, Leicester manager Nigel Pearson said, “Tom Hopper, James Pearson and Adam Smith would like to convey their sincere apologies for their behaviour – to the women involved in the incident, to the club and to the guy holding the camera.”

Meanwhile Tom Hopper insists he should be given a second chance.

“It was one night in Bangkok,” he told us.

The B-Ark / Oh dear not another one, if true?
« on: April 26, 2015, 09:36:31 AM »
North Ferriby United defender Nathan Peat claims the FA Trophy winners are facing voluntary relegation from the Conference North.

Peat, one of several players to post messages on the subject on social media on Saturday, said the club could be demoted "one, maybe two leagues".

A club statement  released later on Saturday did not address Peat's claim.

North Ferriby are owned by Eman and Steve Forster, the daughter and son-in-law of Hull City owner Assem Allam.

The pair have been in charge since late 2013 but announced the club was for sale on 16 April.

The news of their intention to sell came just over a fortnight after the small East Yorkshire club - who have an average attendance of around 365  - beat Wrexham on penalties to win the FA Trophy in a thrilling encounter at Wembley.
Ryan Kendall came off the bench to force an equaliser at Wembley before going on to score in extra time

Among a series of social media postings, former Hull and York City player Peat alleged the owners had pulled "every penny" from the club.

In response, the club said the owners would "continue with the club until they can transfer to new owners", adding: "Contrary to comments already made there is no money being pulled out of the club, in fact the opposite is the case, more money has to be put in by the Forsters to ensure the club's continued survival."

The statement said the club's "commerciality and fan base have not matched" recent successes on the pitch, and claimed it was "totally reliant on the continued injection of monies from Steve and Eman Forster".

Striker Ryan Kendall, who scored twice in the victory over Wrexham, had earlier said on Twitter that the players were now "free to find new clubs".

"A sad day for North Ferriby today. The best season of our lives just turned into the worst. Will miss everyone at the club," Kendall said.

He added: "Unfortunately for us as a club businessmen don't see the consequences of their actions, that's the way they work. #ruthless"

Villagers midfielder Tom Denton added:  "Gutted about the news at Ferriby today really enjoyed my football this season."

Peat also claimed North Ferriby's players have been invited by the Allam family to parade the FA Trophy at the KC Stadium during Hull's game with Liverpool this Tuesday.

Despite his obvious unhappiness, Peat said:  "Just to let everyone know!! Every player will be parading the trophy at half time on Tuesday! To show the biggest achievement in Hull."

North Ferriby, who are managed by Billy Heath, narrowly missed out on promotion to the Conference National last year.

They finished 10th in the Conference North this term, their season ending with Saturday's goalless draw at home to Bradford Park Avenue.
