I think most people are missing the point. He appears to have a fitness problem ( that was known at Lincoln last year ) and it seems does not get on very well with the rest of the squad.

Move on -- lets try and get the two new players that the squad need.

What gives you the impression he doesn't get on with the the rest of the squad?

Just seen Mr Greene has Tweeted someone we'll be playing 3-6-1 on Saturday with an emphesis on keeping possession, can't say this is a wise move my opinion 2 days before a game as Worecester staff/players may see this etc, but apart from that I'll keep an open mind personally and see how it goes, what do you lot think of it?

@MartinJones50 no we are going 3-6-1 keeping possession #bufc

We need a midfield who isn't a scared of putting a foot in first and foremost, my main criticism of Ross over time is yes he can play the "flashy" stuff at times and when it comes off it looks nice on the eye, but even then when he tries going for the Hollywood pass across the field there's an easier pass available for him and he doesn't seem to like the nitty gritty side of the game, where in the past the likes of Church and Sleath excelled in, Church in particular wasn't the most gifted player we've ever had but he was exactly time of midfielder you need in this league

All set for the return of Gary King!  ;)

Well he did play for Drury at Corby & Stamford

Please Finchley don't even joke about such things.

I can see it now, a front two of Gary King & Ricky Miller
loads of pace and attitude!

I'd have Ricky Miller, great little striker when he was here a few years ago

Ohhhhhh!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o

Controversial stuff but its been like that for years mate. I remember a few fans getting really pissed off at somewhere like Farnborough or Woking in the Conference, they joined in when X started the chants but when they stared a song X and his mates stood there staring at them like it was their job to get the support singing, no one else's.......

Personally I thought we supported BUFC and not personalities in the support, but it seems its not the case, a very sad state of affairs when the team really needs all the vocal encouragement it can get.

The promotion and the following season I was in a group of mates who started chants and wouldn't really mind if the "ring leaders" joined in, but at the same time we joined in when anyone, literally anyone started chanting, it's not a popularity competition, but as you say at times it seems like it is.

Since then lack of £ (all of us are looking for work, but not having much look right now) and people drifting to other interests means our group who we usually stood/stand with is a lot smaller but some of us still go when we we can

The thing is some of those "ring leaders" have always been fine with me as people, they just seem to have some kind of strange ego when it comes to standing in the Town End or when we take a big following to an away game.

Speak as you find, but I've found the crowd in the stand to be very patient and supportive........

But the atmosphere's been terrible for ages, even going back to the start of last season.

Its almost as if the Play Off defeat sucked all the momentum out of the support and we've not recovered from it.

That's exactly how it's felt adding the fact we're now what seems a mid-table team the atmosphere in the ground has totally gone, shame really because I won't say we was the most vocal fans during the the promotion season and the play-off season but we got behind our boys when it was needed, but right now nobody seems "up for it"

But then again I know like many who will stand in the Town End if a certain group don't chant the rest don't and if "others" start chants plenty don't join in cos the "ring leaders" aren't the ones starting those chants.

It doesn't matter what wages players are on it's about quality, desire, hunger and passion, right now we're severely lacking in those

Does anybody know if anything has happened to trigger this off? I know a few people who have done/do that purely because either they can't afford Adult prices but see the child price as better than nothing for the club, and obviously there are some who will push their luck until found out

Don't start the 'bring back Ricky Miller' chorus Ken for heavens sake!

He also scored 4 off the bench at HT for Stamford on tuesday, which they won 5-2, 2-1 down at HT  ;)

Bring back Ricky Miller! I all seriousness I thought he was a good player with an eye for goal, shame he can never seem to settle at one club...
