Rather disappointing.
It was looking like the Buxton game - not great in the first half, but the second was an improvement, till they nicked it.
A draw would have been a fair result - of course it would have been a good result if we had pinched it at the end.
I was also going to add Gyasi must go, but everyone else beat me to it!
If he was that bad at Kings Lynn, why did Chesterfield give him a contract and why on earth did our manager give him a second chance ? he must have shown some sort of ability somewhere along the line ?

Well done the lads. The only disappointment was the missing 400 - I hope they enjoyed their ice creams at Skeggy or the Costas, because they missed a cracker. Mobile strikers, surging runs from midfield, solid defence (another outstanding performance from Zak). Workington also played their part in an entertaining game. Let's hope we can make it a treble at Stortford

As everyone has already said, a really great start but after failing to find the net faded disappointingly and Tamworth took over. looking a fair side. With one striker missing, we looked lightweight up front. Until Wilson steps up to provide a viable option, we are going to need to find a reliable goalscorer - but of course easier said than done! We need to get back on track with a win at Southport and with their current poor form if we don't get it we will once again be falling behind the early pacesetters.

We stand in the East stand nearish the half way line. I don't have a problem with the viewing level
as much as when fullish it is difficult to weave your way through other fans to get to where we stand.
There should have been a passageway, maybe at the back of the terrace, to move from the entrance to the other end.
As others have commented, let's hope the new architects have much more understanding of football ground design.
But I have yet to see any other grounds that can match the West stand.

Really solid first half, against good opposition who wont be far off the pace at the end of the season. Couple of cracking goals. We will also need to be on our game against Tamworth, who are likely to give us va stiff test.

First half was none too encouraging, though we did defend well. Much better in the second half and thoroughly deserved the late equalizer after Burrows (typical !) scored the opener against the run of play. Overall a pretty decent performance, against good opponents. Let's hope we can follow it up with a win on Saturday.

Having been to three pre-season friendlies, I too have little idea what to expect this season until we have faced decent oppos at our level in a competitive game. So we should be a bit wiser after tomorrow. Let's hope it is not spoilt by the weather. A draw would be OK, a win would be brilliant. Let's get behind the lads!
