It wasn’t great but my guest didn’t feel it was a really bad performance and at the end of the day he also made the point that we are a point off the play offs. My observations were that we seem to now be playing it long again (from the start) and this makes procession a lottery or 50/50 at best. Also, I don’t like to see the manager shouting negatively when he does come to the touchline, shaking his head, moaning about performances etc etc. Surely it’s about supporting and coaching (his own) young group? I get he cares and is disappointed but poor behaviours just add to an increasingly negative atmosphere..

I couldn’t really understand Gyasi going to the top of the league team immediately before a home game either, leaving no attackers on the bench? Seemed bizarre or have I missed a club communication?

I have no problem IF Danny Elliott came back, to push and provide cover for our front two. Wasn’t he almost top scorer at our level when he was here? Injuries will come or minor injuries will need protecting. If it’s difficult to sign players and proven goal scorers are ever harder to come by, why not? No one ever stays very long anyway!!

It seems to me they are mostly having to create the (half) chances themselves and are not getting much service for the tap ins or let’s say more straightforward chances?
