The B-Ark / Re: Keep everyone on board.

I thought i was the only one thinking this, it would be nice to know if the player with the virus is ok. We can at least watch the grass grow via the live camera. :)
Totally agree with you Mel, could do with something new to talk about, but l don't think we will get any pictures from inside the ground, as l understand DN had banned that from happening as he wants the fans to see it first in person.
Would be nice though for some more aerial shots of the ground now that the East Stand is up.

The B-Ark / Re: Fylde match off due to Covid
« on: November 15, 2020, 07:52:54 AM »
Today's match at Fylde is off due to a member of team/staff testing positive. This will also affect the next 2 games - home to Kettering and Spennymoor.
We really need the abandoned game to be decided in our favour to get another game done with or we could be 5 games behind Gloucester before we resume.
I think the  abandoned game will not be awarded to us, its taking to long to hear anything.
The whole non league season is a shambles now, and l can see teams and including us forfeiting games due to not physically being able to play 3or 4 games a week.
This would go against government guidelines anyway, they want games spread out to reduce contact between players and staff.
The best thing to do is abandoned the non league season and move on to next year.
But that simply can't happen now as players need to be paid under their contract agreements.
I don't see the government paying up player contracts for us.
It's a mess and many people said it would be and never wanted the season to start, including EFL clubs.

Due to a striker shortage Willie Gamble comes out of retirement to score Utds first goal
OMG l think if he was still playing at Boston he would of not scored a goal yet lol
Sorry l stand corrected, according to wikipedia he did score 2 goals for us.
Not sure when or if they were in a training session 😁🤪😁

I plug my router directly into my TV via a earthanet cable and it works perfectly.
But obviously this is only useful if you have a web browser installed on your TV and associated connection sockets.
Failing that l would use a laptop and stream it via a HDMI cable like someone else on here suggested.
I tried through the WIFI for the Leamington game and it kept buffering, mainly because l have other people connected to it most of the time including me.
I have now installed a WIFI booster so that the other members of the family don't get a weak signal, it works perfectly, one of the IT guys at work gave me it, and helped me install and set it up via facetime.
I hope this helps.3

Notts were able to get their whole squad tested before the match, so used players who passed as negative.

Yes they have loads of money to carry out testing, because their new owners are mega rich, according to a family member of mine, which l am sick of hearing when other clubs are struggling to survive.
I hope Lynn put them out of the cup on Saturday live on BT sports.
Have anymore of their players tested positive for Covid ??
I bet County will not forfeit the match if they have, the FA should now enforce it now that other clubs have had to do it.
What happens if Lynn refuse to play them because of player safety concerns??

It's basically a Spayne Rad size terrace, but behind the goal. Could be worse, could be standing down the side or in the away end, where's it about 7 steps.

I wonder how many people have planned to stand in the East terrace, but will start by sitting in the main stand, and stay there...
I should imagine that many of us will stand behind the goal for a start, but 7 steps doesn't seem alot.
I including many others liked to stand pitch side at York Street
I hope we will be able to do the same at the new ground.
The East Stand Steel Works are going up at rate of Knott's.
Looking blooming smart though.

Shame they can't play at Tattershall Road...
Yes that would be great.

Week after that is next round of the cup... which Telford might still be in, which would mean another postponement anyway.

It's probably worth playing the game this Tuesday with whichever players at the club are available.
I agree, we might as well do it if possible.
We get some money win or loose.

Do you think that clubs who have loads of money in our league's should get financial support from the government.
Notts County for instance, they are boasting about signing two midfielders for 6 figure sums next week.
They are surely taking the P*ss.
If the amount of money we receive is based on attendances, then they will get a huge share of the bail out money.

£20 million to be distributed in the form of grants as opposed to loans which is good news and means we can play on Saturday and then start the league. Just need Premier League to match it (loose change for them)and things will look a lot rosier.  UTP
Good that the Government/ Tax payers have helped out.
Premiership clubs won't help out, they are to busy paying out multi millions on players.

If each prem player donated one week's wages to a fund to help grass roots football, £22,000000 is the amount quoted.
Wow that would be nice, but I  don't think any of them will do it unless they get loads of publicity for it.

I wouldn't think that would happen, in normal circumstances yes, but these are not normal times.
With the infection rate rising, l can see many more clubs being in the same position.

Games at Hereford and Kettering also off. If our cup match against Hemel is postponed on Tuesday and we cant rearrange within seven days we will forfeit the game?
