Connor Dimaio

And so it was.

And thanks to the streaming service at the new ground a lot of us got to see it and it was a cracking goal. (The streaming worked much better this week - even the commentary)

To be honest I still had a lot of buffering issues today. I didn't see Fylde score at all (because it was buffering), I didn't know that Fylde had the ball in the net at the end of the game until I heard Craig Elliott's interview (because it was buffering), and then Scott Garner's penalty buffered and hung in mid air for about 30 seconds before I knew it was in. Happy that the club is doing everything it can and the issue must be with individual people's broadband services, but if anyone has got any tips on anything I can do to improve the current watching experience please let me know.

I did see Conor Dimaio's goal, but I already knew we were going to score because I got an update from Flash Scores before the goal actually reached my screen!

Worked perfectly for me today. Credit where it's due, many complained last week. Both audio and video were good.

Do you know if your broadband connection is slow generally Leciester Pilgrim? Google broadband speed test and see what speed is. If it's slow say below 5mbps one option to try would be to click on the setting cog icon in the bottom right of the video player on bostonunited.live and reduce the quality setting from 1080p down to a lower setting and see if that helps. Or the other option would be if you are on a wifi internet connection at home and are a long way from the router and have  weak signal then try somewhere nearer.
Well done Lee for guessing correctly, and what a goal it was.

I am not enthralled with Rose so far. He seems to have underestimated the standard of this league and appears too casual with his performance. Unlike others around him he finds an empty position and waits for the ball to find him instead of the other way round. I hope the return of Platt gives him food for thought.
I would like to see Rose in an attacking midfield role.

I thought we played really well in the second half, then we lostt our heads and played into the hands of their managers.
We need a new striker now, one that doesn't retaliate, Jordan is a cracking lad, but doesn't yet know how to not react to provocation.
IMO our defence is looking good, and the midfield is very creative and tenacious and has the know how.
We need a prolific striker to put these chances away, Burrows is not that person and never was, he does what he does very well and that's what he is here for.
If Jake Wright gets fit and decides to stay with us, he might just do that job for us.
Ricky Miller would be the man to do it, but we will not get him, and if we could  it wouldn't be until January sometime.
Again it's a striker problem, that position never seems to change.

Is that the Maurice White who played for Boston United for two seasons 61/2 and 62/3?

I don't know if he did play for us, if he did he never mentioned it.
I know that he was in his eighties, so he would have been the right age.
The club and family probably know more on this.

Hamstring injury according to the Lincolnshire Echo
Let's hope he is back soon, the team is not the same without him.
I have though been impressed with Rose, but l think he needs to play as an attacking midfielder.

The B-Ark / Re: Tommo handbagged by BBC

It really amazes me that 65000 people signed a petition to get Chris Packham removed from BBC because of his clear breach of impartiality, and his constant unfounded and unproven persecution of Field Sports and Gamekeepers.
Spreading lies and miss information to further his own causes through his television status.
Nothing has been done by the BBC to control and discipline him.
Poor old Tomo gets the full force of it because some gender equality activists complain about some humorous comments, that should just get on with it like the majority of us do.
I am afraid this what happens when the Labour party is full of people that quite frankly are tree hugging kill joys.

Ex Notts County, he turned down a move to play in the Scottish premiership with St Mirren.
Very powerful and strong, with pace to burn.
Very good addition to our team.

does this mean there may be some bums on seats for first  game in new stadium....

It's highly unlikely as Boston is currently close to the top of the worst covid-19 rates in the UK (in 21st position out of 380 areas with a rate of 431.8 per 100,000 cases in the last seven days) so should probably be in the top tier when they are announced on Thursday.

Poor shape around here. i have family working at pilgrim and friday just gone there was 124 Positive cases in there. Think why its like this even if we was allowed id still avoid till it gets better
Some of those cases that are in their are patients who were already there or people from outside of Boston.
The problem is that people are travelling from other High Risk areas to work in our food factories from places like Nottingham.
This is then spreading the virus among those who have followed the rules every day whilst trying to carry on feeding the nation.
I have witnessed it at the place l work, everyone has to use the sanitizer stations before they even enter any building, but the agency don't do it and sadly my employer doesn't enforce it.

Great news. :D
They will never build it or play in it you know.
The doubters have gone very quiet these days, including my brother in law.
He actually sold his house in Wyberton so that he didn't gave to be near the whole quadrant development.
He actually said to me the other day how smart the stadium looks.
All those people that said that as soon as Chestnut homes got planning permission for the houses they would never build the Stadium
Idiots  with Sh#t on their faces now.
