The B-Ark / Re: Kidderminster today
« on: September 02, 2018, 08:57:18 AM »
thought it showed today that Kiddie made full time look the difference, much more skilful all round, quicker and hungrier. I don't think we look fit apart from Davies who covered every blade and put the rest to shame. I am not sure for all the supposed money spent  we are any better than last year. Our last 3 matches were supposed to be our first big tests and we failed all 3.

A lot of work needed and quick otherwise another mediocre season is in store.

The B-Ark / best team over the years
« on: August 26, 2018, 03:08:52 PM »
Sat here on a wet Sunday afternoon thinking about who I would choose as my best team from our players past and present. Here are my ideas would be interesting to see others ideas

Malc White, John Larkin, Steve Thompson, Dave Adamson, Arthur Mann, John Flanagan Peter Costello, Jim Smith, Stuart Hamill , John Froggatt and Bobby Svarc.

Subs. Gerry Stewart (GK) Martin Hardy, Billy Howells, Neil Callery and Chris Cooke.

With all these at there prime think would have walked our league.

I think at the moment our forwards lack the energy of last season's but I also think that thanoj is nowhere near the player he was last season. Am sure that Craig will sort it out. Let's remember where we are this year compared to last. .

thought we were poor today and if we played all night wouldn't have scored and always looked vulnerable to balls over the top. I think we still lack someone in midfield who can put his foot on the ball and pick a pass.
Also a little concerned that its first time Craig has tried to excuse a poor performance.

Its only one game so onwards and upwards for Monday.

I appreciate that they obviously have a good relationship but still believe that he or a player of his type would be useful. Billy heath is a manager with a half decent track record at our level and knows what it takes to do well in this league.
Just hoping to see us with a plan b this year.
Let's get behind the lads

Whilst I appreciate money and location can be seen as a problem, players at all levels like to play in successful teams and am sure with our managers persuasive powers could have had a say. However I bow to your greater knowledge as I am sure that you must a source of information that I don't.

Looks like we are looking for a better version of smithy. Think we may have missed a trick with Denton

Why do our fans have to have a go at each other? Football is a game of opinions and is supposed to be played in our case by grown men who I am sure have been called a lot worse than rubbish.

I have supported this club for over 50 years and to be fair some of the games / players we have been graced with in the last few years have been poor.

However a new season will soon be with us and renewed hope with the signings being made and a very capable manager.

So hopefully the support will increase and resemble that of our last league game at Wrexham where we encouraged our lads all game and were applauded by their fans at the end.
