I agree with a lot of your points TEP, however, I think that a manager whatever his experience is should know his strongest team by now and I am not sure Craig does.(especially with all comings and goings)
We should play to our strengths and let the opposition worry about our tactics not try and counteract theirs .

Some players seem to play whatever performance they put in eg Abbott who has 1 decent game in 5.

Still in with a shout of playoffs at present so not all doom and gloom but need to get more consistent performances before we slip away.

Really starting to worry about Craig s tactics. After this number of games we should have a settled side , know his best players and system.

I not sure he knows his best side and he worries too much about opposition tactics.

We are missing a big opportunity this year because nobody really stands out.

Its not too late but can't afford any more slip ups.

Am I the only one with these views?

I think the Willis sending off may be a blessing in disguise if this new keeper is anything like. Playing in front of Willis must be a nerve jangling experience. His positioning is questionable a lot of the time and is no help with crosses.

Sorry yc69 but have to disagree about Cusack being a rubbish defender he was a class apart from anything that we have currently and his distribution was excellent.

Think it's a bit of a shame as think he would have benefited from linking up with a big man like smithy

Surprised he is the only one to go this week. Am pretty sure he will not be greatly missed.

In my opinion Abbott is one of those most guilty of being very inconsistent, on his day he can be decent but doesn't have enough good days.

I think the frustrating thing so far is that there is a massive opportunity this season to be up there because there is no stand out team as previous seasons because am sure Chorley will slip up before end of the season.

Anybody can truly beat anyone else in this league and if we become more consistent we will not be far away, but it needs to be sorted out soon which I am sure Craig is capable of.

I know at the level of football we are at we cannot expect flowing football all the time, but equally we ought to expect better than just lump it forward and hope, which is what we are being served up at the moment at home.

Thankfully we have a chairman who gives a manager a chance.

Just asking to give fans at home more to cheer about!

Whilst we have more points on the board for all the alleged money spent on supposedly better players I can't see that the standard of our football has improved / changed a great deal from last year.

Really hope Craig finds his winning ways again soon because you can see in his interviews it looks like it is starting to get to him.

Don't think Craig knows his best team or formation and not being helped by inconsistent players.
As for midfield think Abbott and thanoj are too similar and neither playing particularily well.
Always thought 10 games is a good point to look for a guide to where we stand. Still think we need a lot of work to be done.

Chester were one of the poorest sides seen for a long time and we still couldn't outplay them. The only tactic we had was lump it forward and chase.
It's a good job we have a few points on the board. Think they will be needed if we carry on like this.
Craig doesn't seem to change things when it's not working and that's a big concern.
We really need to win next week otherwise I fear there will be calls for someone's head.
