Why are there no post-match interviews after the Chester game on the club website? Did IC refuse to go on camera? Maybe there is a simple reason, if so, I'd like to hear it.

Yippee!!! I bet DN has a big smile on his face this morning and the Sunday roast will go down a treat.I certainly hope so. I don't know if the Darlington management/ownership is the same as when they double-crossed us over that abandoned game, but I hope it is. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Now onto Chester, which is a hard place to get a result. They are full-timers but I'm certain yesterday's result and performance will boost the players' confidence.

I have just watched the 16 minute clip on the KTFC You Tube channel. Jaw dropping. Totally in control first half, they never had a sniff at goal. On the hour mark, all change. The entire team had he physicality of teenage schoolgirls. What the hell did IC say at half-time?
If there is a repeat tomorrow we will get stuffed. The players have got us into this mess, now they have to get us out. Billy Heath is licking his lips. I would pick Jake Wright to start. How on earth he missed that open goal from 2 yards out is beyondf me though.
The worst thing about Tuesday was I agree with IC. The starting 11 was the most experienced line-up on the club's roster. Sadly lacking in the last 30 minutes.

For the record:

1. For the second season in a row, we have been knocked out of all 3 Cup competitions by teams from a lower league.
2. I do not regret Elliott's sacking. I was a staunch supporter of his for 3 seasons, but by last Xmas he was a liability. I would have sacked him after the Cup replay defeat at Stratford, and I suspect he was surprised he wasn't.
3. Dennis Greene teams played attractive football all right, but Dennis lost interest in the job. The reasons for that will probably remain confidential.
4. IC & PC must remain in post. They now have ONE target. Avoid relegation.

Just watched a 9 minute clip on You Tube of Tuesday night's game. Thank God Fylde's first choice strikers, Challoner and Rowe, were out injured. Another 9-2 defeat was therefore avoided. We were second best all over the field.
The only realistic target now for this season is to avoid relegation. It is not even December yet.
As for the South Stand, I cannot see work starting on that in the foreseeable future. However, I'm confident DN has one or two short-term alternatives.
P.S. Adam Murray resisted the urge to gloat in his post-match interview. Fair play to him.

I've had a day to think about it and I know what I want to say. We are now one place above the relegation zone. We have lost 5 out of 7 home games.
This is the time to "circle the wagons" and "load the riflés". The club needs our support now. I am not happy, quite the oppisite.  But I will keep my mouth shut and give Culverhouse the space to earn his money.

I bet DN was heartbroken when the cheif scout received his "better offer". His"advice" has helped land us in the mess we are in now. I suspect the transfer budget is blown, and Culverhouse will need divine inspiration to improve the situation.

The cheif scouit was quietly shown the exit door this wek. Why? Because we now have a very average squad. I don't think relegation is on the cards, but promotion is NOT going to happen. Without admitting it publicly, Culverhose will spend the rest of this season completely replacing the squad. When he first came I thouight he sounded like a politician when he said it was a" privilege "to work with this set of players.  My arse.

No Shiels or B. Pollock in central defence in the 2nd half. Result? Basford get 3 goals and force a penalty shoot-out. Of course last night was depressing, but I for one couldn't see them getting a result at Solihull. I went to see Moors last month and they are sharp.
Hereford on Saturday, fingers crossed.

Went to see Utd "in the flesh" for the first time in a while, and I'm glad I made the effort. All the players put a full shift in. Several contenders for MOM but I'd just about give it to Crawford. He really is a grafter.
Lichfield ran around like ferrets on speed in the first half and we had to compete. I know Wright has his critics, but I rate him. He is always annoying someone, and I think in a striker, that's a good thing. He's good in the air and I think he's muscled up a bit. Leesley lets people know if he isn't happy.
Plenty of vocal support yesterday and I know Lichfield were chuffed with the attendance.
On the topic of pubs, I had a couple of pints[Joules Pale Ale] in the Duke of York before the game. Excellent beer and friendly staff.

I've done it again!!! This time last season I paid £150 to hire a motor for the Telford game, On the Friday afternoon a Telford player went down with COVID amd the game was called off. This season I've forked out £170 to hire a motor for the Alfreton game. On Friday afternoon the game is called off because of the Queen's death. I think the FA Cup tie at Lichfield is 50/50 as well.

Full RMT rail strike on the 17th. Luckily I can catch a National Express bus from Birmingham that takes just an hour to get to Lichfield.

I am a little surprised that PC has been sacked right now. I know we are bottom of the table but he improved an average squad to a play-off final just a few weeks ago. He then brought in his own players and they have let him down. I would have given him another month to kick a few backsides.

But PC is history now and best wishes for success to Culverhouse and Co.

Tsimanga's transfer from Chesterfield to Birmingham City fell through in the last 10 minutes of transfer window.

I agree with 90% of your post,Dipdodah. I do think we were guilty of "cheating" our way into the FL. If you cook the books to enable you to offer bigger wages to better players, then any promotion is the outcome of false accounting.
As for the then chairman of the National league, he was caught with his trousers round his ankles. He was shown up in public for the useless, well-connected individual her was. This made him more than keen to damage our club, which he did with that vindictive demotion to the NPL.
Anyway, like you, I am a long-term supporter and have hired a motor for the Alfreton game next Saturday.
