Let's hope not, but l fear George has probably either been punished for walking off last Saturday, or has carried on walking.

Or just not selected? We are in a position where we have more players than allowed in a matchday squad. For an away games, having the defender on the bench to cover 2 positions is more sensible, especally already having 2 other attacking options on the bench.

With 3 key players missing he has been unable to make the starting eleven .     no big deal if he's gone .

He hasn't gone. He's injured.

This lads personal problems have been well documented. With a young family it  appears hes getting help & trying to get on with his life & career. This kid has major talent.! Everton were prepared to pay 2 million quid for him only a few years ago. Would really like to see him make a go of it here & get some stability in his life.. it's up to him.o

Stych was an absolute disgrace!

Was at work yesterday, listened to their commentary on BBC, they were so biased. Said Styche was using his loaf & was giving good as he got? They also wondered how we scored 5 against Alty & said we offered nothing in the final third. That was straight after they cleared one off the line? They gave us no credit for shutting them out or controlling the game as others have said on here.

How long are we expected to wait for this fixture to be rearranged? They know full well our players & Fans need to make arrangements with work etc for the midweek hike up there, so why is there no announcement of a date?

Regarding Bury, (and Bolton who are on a cliff edge), sadly there will be many other FL & non league clubs who suffer the same fate. We have already seen it with Ferriby. Yes it's gross mismanagement of spending & a Massive problem at all levels is the obscene hike in players wages. I also think that within the pyramid; parachute payments should be scrapped. Why should relegated overspending, over budget teams, be financed by the League the following season to meet their previous seasons failed excessive budget??  This gives relegated teams a totally unfair advantage over the clubs in the League they are demoted to. It also forces those clubs to spend excessively aswell to try & compete with them. Look at York city getting over £600,000 in parachute payments for their season in the Conference & first season in CN. If the League done away with this nonsense maybe it would help stabilise spending below the premier league & stop rewarding failure, & mismanagement of wages & playing budgets.

Great response to Saturday! Also hope this finally lifts that home hoodoo & we really kick on. Should be massive confidence booster.

Law of averages says we must get it right at some point.  Far to early to follow BPA and Hereford in sacking Managers.   If you are looking for a name how about tempting this guy Culverhouse away from K Lynn.  Has a decent track record there and a good CV. Including Premiership.  He can bring the legend with him

I agree with it being early days & to give CE more time. Buts it's a results business so as many say the next month or so needs to see a big improvement.. It's such a tough call with managers at this level. I though AM would do well 4 us after managing in FL....didn't  happen. Just look at top & bottom of CN. Watson at York ex Prem league player & FL manager top with York. Lee Clarke ex Prem league player & Championship gaffer joint bottom with Blyth.

A lot of facts & sense posted tonight re: our start to this season. Their are glaring indications already that if unchecked; this could be a re run of the last disappointing campaign.

Yes, pre season looked promising, they are friendlies, the CN is a different proposition. As already stated; there is a pattern with CE of strikers struggling in his system; then they move on & produce elsewhere? Also his inability to blend a midfield that is both dominating & creative at this level.

The start we've had is the last thing Craig needed after last season. Why that dreadful fear of playing at home last season developed is unclear; but it appears it's carried over to this season? Oxo's match report of players today looking disinterested is unacceptable & again you have to be concerned at the Managers ability to get this group focussed, organised & firing. I said a couple of times towards the end of last season that if CE was going to put a decent side together it would have been last campaign. I still hope I'm wrong but the signs so far are not good. CE has been given excellent support by the Chestnuts financially over 2 pre seasons plus & he's had enough players at Boston to fill the Gliderdrome. I do not think the Board will allow him to hire & fire like he did last season. The next 4 or 5 results will be crucial.

Adebayo-Smith  on loan from Lincoln

18 yr old Imps Apprentice,. 4 goals in 13 games for Grantham on loan (2019). Described on wiki as "Lightening quick, very skilful & a keen eye for goal".

It's good we got him on "long term loan", let's hope he knocks a few in for us. Good Luck Jordan.

We've played chester mad Guiseley both in the playoffs and Alfreton who, are half way up
Leamington are lower half

From next Saturday we've got 4 games in 11 days. Gloucester (a), Alty (h), Hereford & Kettering both away. The 3 away may suit us more as per last season. We will have a much better idea after these next 4 games as to where this seasons heading.

Colby Bishop a youngster we got for nothing from Worcester under AM, has scored for Accrington in their last 2 Division One games. He left us & went on to score 33 goals in 50 odd games for Leamington. Just turned 22, Accrington paid Leamington an undisclosed fee for him pre season.

Couldn't get to the game last night. Watched 2nd half of Salford v Leeds. 3 ex Bostonians giving good accounts of themselves in the Salford ranks. Jake Beesley looked sharp & dangerous & Pidge (their player of last season) was excellent & lauded by Gary Neville amongst others. The big surprise for me was Mani Diesiuvwe who we had on loan under Murray. He looked a different player to what we had?
