It's standard FA punishment. One sending off for violent conduct is 3 matches. The next similar offence in a season gets an extra match etc etc

Agree GHM. Uninspiring in the extreme

Clearly a real student of the game but in this league that doesn't seem to be enough

Things he has had are:

Time to build his own team
Time to build his own back room staff
Budget to buy players
Healthy budget to pay players
Relocation of training base
GPS monitors to track players movements in training
An improved pitch which can no longer be blamed for poor performances

Etc etc

What we haven't had yet is an improvement in either results or indeed performances. Add to that a worsening of the clubs disciplinary record and the facts are there for all to see in my view

AM clearly isn't the right man for Boston United at the moment. He may be a great coach and a nice fella but he's not the right fit at the moment

in december, we went to FCUM with a side that many on here have disrespected and dismissed as not good enough, dross etc etc

got a decent point from a 1 1 draw

team was

durrant thomas robinson maguire gordon gatter chippendale hilliard marshall smith rollins. used subs were clappison st juste and colley

despite getting rid of all but two of this 14, let's face facts, we are no further forward are we?

budget wise, we are worse off, we have paid money for players who aren't even starting games and the squad is massive. the board have backed the manager who trots out the same old stuff every week

record is worse than greene's recently too

not convinced the manager isn't just a fraud. says all the right things but hasn't delivered. this is his team. no one else's. the cheap talk has to stop. it's getting embarassing

he was given special treatment last season over the other injured players (pepe roberts etc etc)

repays the manager fans and club like this

not acceptable

has to go. but contracted until may so won't leave

Like you left back- I can't see a single positive that chapman brings to the side

It would be much better without him

But love is blind

Another big wage to pay. Well done to the board for backing the manager. Needs to deliver now

Just watched AM's post match. We had:

'Young team'
'Opposition been together longer than us'

Etc etc etc.......

It's getting boring now. You could wind the clock back to Feb/ March and look at any of his post match from that era. It's just the same stuff all over again

He has dismantled the side of last season and increased the wage bill. Plus paid for money for players. Are we any better? A little bit maybe, but not much in my view

I've said it before and will do so again. His obsession with Chapman is killing us and will cost him his job. He's not mobile enough and I believe a disruptive influence on the pitch

That said, the stuff about a new group, other sides being together longer wears very thin. Many sides at this level have a massive turnover of players every season.. I will give you Salford Alfreton Southport Harrogate and Brackley as examples. All have changed personnel massively over the summer. But they've IMPROVED QUICKLY - so this isn't an excuse in my book any more

It's your team Adam- no one else's!

Alfreton have 23 contracted players. Stands the reason they'll loan a few out. He's a decent player. If he's costing us nowt then why not

Hawley and Murray are both dead miserable. Has anyone ever seen either of them smile? Not that having a laugh is everything but it's got to help?

On another note, Yeomans hasn't been involved at all this season. He really improved last season and I note he only signed a 3 month deal. How do people think he compares to his replacement cos I quite rated him

Said it last season and will say it again. This side will not succeed while AM has this blind faith in Chapman

It is almost as if he feels determined to prove his ill advised 'best midfielder in the league' comment of last season

The old pals act with Chapman Hawley etc etc could cost us league places and the manager his job

Currently no better than last season are we. Some of these lads are getting big big ££££. Many posters have banged on about other clubs over paying but I can tell you Boston are no shrinking violets when it comes to paying their 'top players' the big money

Whether AMs new lads are good enough will tell in time, sendings off haven't helped either but big improvement is needed and fast

Look forward to another inspiring motivating Murray analysis of the game once the video comes out. God he comes across as boring or is it just me?

No way will boston be even remotely close to relegation

Gainsboro ferriby Bradford leamington FCUM Alfreton Nuneaton Tamworth Telford and Curzon are all, in my opinion, less well resourced that AMs side

Mid table or just above is my prediction

The question we must ask though, from the owners view point, will this be enough of a return on their investment. There are a number of players on big big money. AM has his own squad now. Something he complained about not having last season

He has to deliver this season. Simple as that

I gather the manager is making heavy demands on the players. That's fine, but it's not for everyone. The higher paid members of the squad (who derive all their income from football) will be fine with it but lower paid generally aren't as they have other jobs and have to juggle both

I hear some lads are on 800 a week. Even if you knock a bit off for the hearsay factor it's still massive money. Not as big as some in the league but still a lot

In contrast others are earning 200. Very hard to maintain harmony in the dressing room with such big differences in money

AM has to deliver. He now has his squad. Not an inherited one. Big season ahead

Didn't look like we created much. But Hednesford looked a decent side

Watching AM post match he's just so dour and comes across as really boring. Eventually teams take on the personality of their leader and our fella never smiles does he? Hope this doesn't happen as we've got the players to entertain this season
