The B-Ark / Things must be bad.....wheres all the money gone?
« on: June 20, 2017, 06:24:36 PM »
I see we are advertising for another 'volunteer', this time to drive the team bus every tuesday and thursday.  Are things that bad that we cant pay a very minimal amount to get someone to help the club? Am suprised they aint asked for the volunteer to put the deisel in the bus too.

So my questions are, where has all the money gone? quite concerning as there are still no new arrivals either....

Agreed it is probably the players that are delaying, but maybe Adam would like to retract the statement he made before the close season when he said bringing new players in isn't a problem......obviously it is.  I read somewhere that he has interviewed over 50 players which worries me a little - either our standards are too high or the other way round in terms of budget restraints.

Must admit I'm growing slightly concerned of the lack of signings, hopefully it's just a case of negotiating with the right players at the moment and not struggling to find players else we will end up with the Waide Fairhurts of this world

Agreed - Can't understand the decision, madness - surely it's one of Boston's best avenues for talent considering that they struggle to compete with the likes of Salford when it comes to paying wages / transfer fees.  Maybe I'm biased in the fact I've got 3 lads who would potentially like to join up but I think bufc are missing a trick here.

I actually didnt think fc fylde were that much better than us, we allowed them too much space and they were clinical, but not as good as i thought they might be.

Good clear out required of dead wood, especially our on loan striker from lincoln who seems to think he knows better than Adam Murray

Think ur bang on with those comments, concerns me that management look like they r just binding their time too, adam must be thinking.have i made the right choice but he hasnt helped himself today in my opinion.  Spend alot of money here with the kids and mascots etc so well entitled to.say what i see

i wish i could agree, but honestly, he didnt get out of his dugout once in the 2nd half which is very suprising
, a manager needs to be pushing his team.all the way.

As long as he's match fit it's a good start - possibly not a has been either.  Good luck to him!

Durrant - looks short of confidence and.doesnt command, Thomas - ok Robinson - ok, Batchelor - Poor decision making out of depth, Gordon - Best defender for boston, strong in tackle, Clarke - Who?  bow legged and uncommited Chapman - 2 good touches but uneffective, Gatter - No confidence and struggled, Rollins - Bostons only comitted player for the cause, he bleeds yellow, Brodie - Manequin best used in Aldrids, Chippendale - Steady....Steady..
SUBS: Hawley - Fantastic...NOT, Hilliard - Totally underated, has a lot of talent when given the space, Fitzpatrick - Yeah Simmons, Yeomans.
