Why reduce the price? Some say free entry and half price but if man u were coming would you want the price doubled. The only thing to encourage people through the gate is playing well, being entertaining and getting results. IF we get a good cup run the attendances will go up each round.
Some talk of going to watch town but then pay £20 for travel and entrance fee but moan about paying £13 to get in york street.
The club haven't missed a trick... they have to agree with the away side what the prices are. They will want to make as much money as possible. Halving the price would not result in double the crowd.
Just a point, we all moan every time we get knocked out of the FA CUP, well we will when we are full of doom and gloom even before the game has even been played.
Who cares about what it costs to get in,or if kid's are going in for free.
Let's just for once turn up in numbers and support our lads.
If we get behind them from the off, and make them feel they are playing for us, we might just for once see us progress much further in this competition, we certainly need the money and the publicity.
So come on let's turn up, make some nice, make York Street sound and like a cauldron of hostile noise to the opposition, remember many of the opposition have never played at a ground like ours and certainly not in front of a big crowd.
We have a part to play on Saturday,so let's do it.
The admission prices have to be mutually agreed between the two clubs immediately after the draw has been made, with the home club submitting a match arrangement form containing the details to the FA (via MOAS this season).
Therefore, the admission prices for your game on Saturday and for any potential replay will almost certainly have already been agreed and submitted to the FA.
The FA stipulate a minimum adult admission price per round, which is £5 for the second qualifying round, but a higher cost can be charged if both clubs mutually agree.
It is up to the two clubs to mutually agree the admission price for children and senior citizens. I have known clubs to agree allow children in free under circumstances with no problems. e.g. when we played Hinckley in an earlier round it was agreed that children aged 10 and under were admitted free of charge if accompanied by an adult.
At this stage of the competition any profit from the gate receipts are shared equally between the two clubs, the FA do not take any.
jell Langley your posts are generally negative it's almost laughable. We go behind and your posts are immediate. I'm guessing you don't see many games live. The facts are results aren't good enough but only one team get promoted as champions the rest fight for scraps and any team from 14 to 7 will always be in with a shout for play offs Look at the posts when we win versus those when we lose it's almost 2 to 1 when we lose. Ultimately Adam gives 100 percent he's a genuine guy does loads behind the scenes. Look at the teams in our league York. Stockport. FCUM and Salford Harrogate it's a league far tougher than I can imagine as a young lad with these big names years ago. So rather than give it the big I am football manager be constructive we are a young team ex pro manager positive chairman support the club instead of being the constant negative mouth. Whether we win or lose I might be pissed off but will always back our club
