Great win, great permance, great tactics and add a little fortune and it all adds up to 3 points and a whole bunch of happy Pilgrims. Bring on Tuesday. And yes, dare to dream, it's all still to play for.

So on the new measurements, the crowd will be further away from the pitch.  A pity, the closeness of the crowd at YS gave us an advantage I thought.

I know it is only a few feet, but size does matter ( so the missus says ) :o :o
a few feet is better than a few inches ( so my ex-missus used to say ) 😂

My view always has been its always dodgy to take players back once they have left, especially forwards.
Look at Paul Cavell when he came back, and same with Dayle. Very good player first time round, but frankly
didn't look anything like that for the few weeks he was here. Not bothered he did not sign.
You have got a good point there, Cav was awful when he returned.
Ricky Miller IMO has been the only one that l can remember that excelled when he had his second spell with us.

And yet people still think getting former players back is a good idea.....
it's like taking a blockbuster movie and throwing out a sequel that just doesn't compare to the original. Anyone know the songs in Grease 2 for instance? Sometimes it's best just leaving things as they once were, and yes, of course there are plenty of exceptions, but it can more often than not to be a case of going to the well one too many times.

Another win at home, another clean sheet, another decent performance and a decent crowd. Thought we did well with the ball and without the ball, but if I was a Kiddy fan I'd be asking why they spent so much time playing passing football that went absolutely nowhere? So much effort for virtually no reward.
But what the heck, 3 wins in a week and strengthening our playoff place. A good day at the office.

In closing I'd like to say how saddened i am with the news about Jordan Sinnott. RIP.

wasn't it V Brackley that Timms all but threw the ball in to his own net??? Nice to have a Crook you can rely
yep and in the same game their keeper Turley inexplicably got himself sent off for a needless foul mouth tirade at the ref. Now I'm not saying anything but what would the odds be for neither starting keeper making it to 90 minutes? Neither keeper had  a good reputation nor record.....

So who sits on the bench as the impact player, Southwell, Gash or Marriott ?
if you're top of the league why would you split your successful 2 front men? Unless forced of course.

Until Dom Knowles pulled one out of the bag, a draw was looking like an extremely hard earnt point. We dug in, rode our luck, battled and in my opinion pinched an extremely unlikely winner. But total credit to all on that pitch for sticking with it. A first ever win against a side who must still be asking how they came away with nothing! Get in! Bring on Saturday.

Covered so much ground and made at least 3 goal saving tackles and blocks. When we needed a leader he stood tall against 85 minutes of total onslaught. As you say, immense.
