The B-Ark / Re: Worcester, will it be on?
« on: November 18, 2015, 06:53:23 AM »
Just seen Dens interview and he says he might have got it wrong but to be fair it wasn't wholesale changes and we were playing a team in the bottom 3. As he said players lacked comitment and we should have got something from the game whatever the personel. Not going to get the 36 points at half stage of the season now, we need to hang on in there and push on in the new year. I keep harping on but I still think the midfield is still an area that Dens never got sorted, in games we win we often lose the midfield battles and its our goalscoring power that edges it for us, oh for a Ellender type player in there.

Lovely guy who followed Boston United so loyally, only speaking to him a week or so ago, such a shock. Deserves a minutes applause on Saturday for the support he's given BUFC.

The B-Ark / Re: Utd away at Telford
« on: October 25, 2015, 05:52:20 PM »
I've been critical of Dennis not getting a competitive squad together for the start of the season and I'm afraid the midfield is light when Garner isn't there. To be fair to Dennis he did say in one of the interviews that Telford surprised him playing 3 up front and he had to make changes, whether they were late in coming who knows. What is for sure is that we are missing Felix, Mills, Rollins, Jones and are in need of a good strong midfielder. Hopefully we can get those 4 back which will make the starting 11stronger and give options off the bench which isn't great and  limited at present. If we can hang on around the edge of the playoffs untill after xmas we will be in with a.shout of the playoffs.

The B-Ark / Re: Sunderland link-up with Greene revealed
« on: October 15, 2015, 07:08:13 AM »
My only problem with Dennis is the fact that we are always playing catch up due to an incomplete squad at the start of the season. This year we are again playing catch up, last year we had to have the best form from the new year to make the playoffs and the year before we just never quite got there and finished a couple of wins short which was down to another poor start.
Whatever you think of Dennis he must have the trust of Sunderland to allow the lads come down here and see a real benefit to them, lets face it it's not to do us a favour there academy lads have a lot of time and money invested in them.
Got to say well done Dennis on this one.

Good debut, natural left foot made a difference especially in the first half. Nice to see Mares in his natural position as well.

Well done lad, great debut and hopefully his pace and power will add a different dimension.

But to say he offers more than Newsham is like comparing chalk with cheese, newsham scored around 100 goals but wouldn't beat anyone for pace.

Great result, well done to Dennis, players and fans who made the trip. Sounded like we played how we did through March and April. A win again next week and  we are
really back in it

David Newton wouldn't even want there names mentioned, not a chance of them racking up at BUfC. From what most of us are saying  about how disappointed we are about our playing form I doubt there's anyone that can't have total respect for what David and Neil ate doing to re-establish us as a club. Lets remember we were hours from disappearing fully.

If there is still anyone who would like to see fatty mcfraud back at BUFC they need to seek medical attention.

The B-Ark / Re: A trip to Gainsborough in the FA Cup

So Gainsborough brought in 1 physical proven goalscorer in jarman and 1 proven goal poacher in newsham, the ball winner from ferrby and have a experienced keeper whos made 2 good saves. We brought in 5 or 6 under 20 year olds and are heading towards a delegation battle. Glad I saved a few quid and stayed at home.

The B-Ark / It really is that bad
« on: September 14, 2015, 06:51:33 PM »
Worst points total after 9 games since the dark days of the last year under fatty fraud. We've even less than the year Tommy Taylor had about 2 weeks to put a squad together. Been said by many but we have gone backwards while others have strengthened, we need to improve quickly or it could be a long season looking over our shoulder at the bottom three.
