Colby Bishop signed for Leamington.
absolutely no loss there. I struggled to see anything positive in his game. Good luck to him, and to AP Leamington.

No connection to Automotive Products since 1988

Signed from Trinity for a fee

Willis decent(ish) keeper but a little on small side.

Beatson played left back for us, but is nominally a centre half. Young and has potential, but not outstanding IMHO

Both were offered terms to stay here, but have had better offers from BUFC
Time will tell, let's hope the reality is better than the picture you paint, Steelihat. After all, you guys have had a season very similar to ourselves. Each had many low points, and new managers who kept our sides up now have to prove themselves. I'm not sure that trading unwanted players is going to be any good for either if us.

Our manager was given a hospital pass when he came here - top ten to play, and disillusioned players.
He has turned it around (only just) But the players have responded to him. He wanted to keep them both, so perhaps he can see more.
The unwanted players are the ones difficult to shift

Shame to loose the clean sheet, but on to the next one.
I see Salford still can't win in Lincolnshire and can't stop there players getting sent off, great win for Trinity.
Would like to leave a comment on Salford's FB page, but they don't like criticism and blocked me after the Boston game.
Still up there own backsides, but keep getting them kicked in Lincolnshire.

Salford the most despised team in non league football, not improved by the clowns in charge.
Sick of the 'class of 92' and all the sh1te that surrounds them (tv cameras again today)
Two or three seasons at this level will see them lose interest

According to Rob Makepeace DG will not be submitting a CV for the Trinity job .

Prefers changing nappies ?

Or knows the job is his ?

...... Or has already been told he's not wanted?

Done deal.

He must be a better player than he showed for Trinity

You've probably just beat some of our moaners to that post Steeli  :D. Seriously though was he not so good for you? I know he has worked with our manager before maybe he thinks he can bring him on.

Anonymous really

Can't say we'll miss him, because we never really noticed he was there.

if the referee has authorised the doctors and /or stretcher bearers to enter
the field of play, the player must leave on a stretcher or on foot. A player who
does not comply, must be cautioned for unsporting behaviour

(Unless he plays for Gainsborough Trinity??)

http://www.fifa.com/mm/Document/FootballDevelopment/Refereeing/02/79/92/44/Laws.of.the.Game.2016.2017_Neutral.pdf

Unless the player who causes the injury is given a yellow card (both occasions today - ref spot on)

Poor game, played on a poor pitch, in poor weather by two (very) poor teams.

Boston were marginally the better team until they scored, then Trinity had the best of the last half hour - draw probably a fair result
Smith, playing up front for Boston has perfected the art of winning free kicks (hooks his arm through the defenders, turns and falls - 4 successful times today)
Interesting to see BUFC fans comments on the ref - we thought he was a blatant 'homer' with most decisions going Boston's way - especially the free kicks around our area

Both teams need to be worried about were they will finish, BUFC have changed their manager and unless things improve quickly, can't see Trinity keeping faith with theirs

Indeed. Some cracking material on there.... just reminds us why we're the 2nd biggest club at this level and what we should be aspiring to get too in the next few years

On what basis are we the second biggest club?

History? Stockport the only ones bigger.
so ex-league clubs kiddy, darlo, bpa, Halifax, and not forgetting gainsboro couldn't claim the same?

Kiddy are similar-size to us - Darlo, BPA and Halifax are new clubs and Gainsborough? Seriously?

What are you using to determine size?
(Crowds, balance sheet, average league position, trophies?)

Some teams in this division are 'upwardly mobile' - Darlington, Fylde, Salford, Harrogate, Chorley FCUM
Others are trying to stabilise, Stockport, Alty, Telford, Kiddy, Nuneaton Tamworth
The rest are just hoping to maintain their place in this league

History suggests that BUFC are either in group two or three

Just back after a seven hour round trip, disappointing to say the least, first 30 minutes we were the better side, had 2 or 3 good chances which we didn't take, then their only real opportunity was the pen which they converted,
Complete capitulation the first fifteen minutes of second half and it was game over, shambles at the back and midfield non existent, fairhurst and Smith huffed and puffed up front but have my doubts whether they are the answer, Rollins put a good shift in and deserved his consolation goal, nice of Liam marrs to come over and shake the hands of us suffering boston fans.
Onwards to Tamworth and another loss will certainly have DG under pressure.

Sorry for loyal fans having spent lot a time and money travelling , deserve better .
Nice gesture by Liam , no surprise from a popular ex-player , sure  many Bostonians send best wishes to mum and dad too .
Players must shape up and perform Tues to repay fans that have been short changed .
Been pressure on DG since exodus of players in the summer and will continue for a time I think .
Can,t think of anyone else capable of doing a better job .

Has a team ever been relegated after 3 matches ? ::)

Swindon relegated before season started in 1990

The B-Ark / Re: The new manager of North Ferriby is???????
« on: June 07, 2016, 08:32:04 PM »
So the manager of the team promoted in the play-offs becomes a manager of another team in Conference North and the manager of a team relatively near the bottom of the CN goes on to become a manager of the team promoted? Sensible?

Budget.

Heath rewarded with a big pay rise and much increased budget.
Ferriby will be everyone's favourites for relegation, decent budget for CN, amongst the lowest in National.
Houshy available, and knows a lot NFU's players. Sensible move by them

Second ex blue you have beaten us to this summer.
On decent money too, a team from a lower league had offered more than Boston - not sure if Den has matched their offer, or if he wanted to play at this level

Marc Newsham and Jamie Yates have been released by Trinity, along with a favourite opponent of mine, Jonathon D'Laryea.

He might be worth looking at for next year, as he always puts a shift in against us.

JD will play at a lower level, he's now qualified as a teacher, and hasn't the time to train properly
Newsh never really fit enough (play a couple, miss a couple)
Yates probably end up a club in the division below

New signing ... left back from Sheffield Wednesday development squad. Has been on loan at Lincoln and Gainsborough, ex Aston Villa.

Does this mean we won't be getting McEvoy?

Had a few games for us, looked a good player
We were interested in re signing him, but he wanted too much money
