Another 3 points in the bag, three goals scored and their goal sounded like it was a rocket -not much can be done about that
Just need to keep it going. Without getting ahead of ourselves - we only the league to focus on its looking positive
Agree with a previous thread that said that when we lose a game everyone is on here moaning but when we win those people fail to come on here and praise or encourage. A few more positive comments wouldn't go a miss and get a feel good factor around the club.
My 16/1 bet for us to win the league is looking good value right now  ;)
Keep up the good work boys!

At home against Quorn our strikers couldn't finish their dinner which cost us and away from home our defence was obviously the problem. There is no way you should go to a team at the bottom half of the division below, SCORE 2 GOALS, and STILL lose!! That is a joke! The whole team is to blame not individual players.

Saying that Cup upsets happen and this year we have been the ones on the recieving end - simple. Lets just hope the squad learn and react from this.

At the end of the day the league is what we want so not having distractions from cup competitions can only enhance our chances of getting automatic promotion.

Onwards and upwards!!!

Be good to put ourselves up against a team in a higher div and it'll also be good to see a team come to our place and try and attack as oppose to sit back

But it doesn't matter what team we play in the next round if we don't win on Tuesday!

The B-Ark / Friday night football...?
« on: November 02, 2009, 10:14:05 AM »
I was listening to a commentator on Friday who was covering the Southend game on SkySports. He said that Southend have started to play more and more games on a Friday night because the gates are higher and therefore more revenue is generated.

Do you think this would work for us? Possibly something that could be looked into...

« on: November 02, 2009, 10:07:36 AM »
I wasn't at the game and by the sounds of it I didn't miss much. If teams in our own division come to our place and are happy to sit behind the ball a team in a lower division are going to do the same. Not hiding from the fact it is poor that we can't beat a team who are near the bottom of the div below but they would have treated this game as a cup final.

I don't think we should look too much into this one game and we should put it behind us. I'm confident we will beat them on Tuesday as we will be at their place and the onus will be on them to attack more. Boston to win 2-0

Oh and take your chances boys!!

Gradi, "I've got lots of strikers and they're all ahead of him."

Do you reckon Gradi rates him?! ha  :)

Fantastic!!
I think we should start to believe and be positive around the place - it'll rub off on the players!
Newsham isn't the most athletic of players but the boy is in the right place at the right time and he is getting the goals. DD is doing the business n all!!
Church and Sleath are unbelievable in the middle of the park – so consistent
Defence is solid and the fact we have conceded the least amount of goals in the league says it all!!
I think it took a bit of time for the team to gel but now they have got a few games behind them we are looking a lot more settled - good times are on the way!!

Make you right! DD is very average and he hasn't got the goals in him to score consistently over 40 league games and fire us out of this league.

Clarke had a chance at Lowestoft in the FA Cup and from what i can remember he was put clean through twice, missed both chances and we ended up losing the game. Bit harsh on being judged on a couple of games but that’s how it is.

We need to grab a goal scorer who is sitting on the bench at a club a div or two above us.

Can't Mr Scott call his brother and get one sent down from Brentford??? ;D
