DOWIE BECOMES A PILGRIM
Boston United have signed midfielder Jay Dowie from Skrill North rivals Histon.

A combative midfielder and former Histon scholar, Dowie firmly established himself as a key player in the heart of the midfield.

A number of niggling injuries hampered his progress over the last couple of seasons but the 22-year-old is now 100% fit and signed a new contract in the summer of 2013.

interesting reading about the ref for the game.

John Brooks is an English association football referee and assistant referee in the Premier League. He is affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
In January 2013, he made national headlands in the UK after being dropped from refereeing a game for comments made to Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott that he should thank for the fans following the game having paid £62 for a ticket.

The B-Ark / over zeleous steward does it again
« on: April 07, 2012, 05:37:31 PM »
guess who tried to throw out somebody today.

all because of a bit of banter between a steward and a spectator.

the spectator in question has sponsored a player for the last three seasons and has been supporting the club for over 40 years.

a strong letter of complain will be winding its way to the club next week, we can only hope that the "steward supervisor" will get his much needed comeuppance.
