Why shouldn't we be excited for the season, full of confidence that we are going to do very well this season? We have had a fantastic pre season, finishing with scoring 11 against a team not too far below us.

We should build the excitement, get the buses packed to FCUM and continue this fine form we have going! We have great owners, exciting young managers, and a squad which is made up of people who are proven at this level!

So many people are saying that we should be conservative and not get too excited, but I am very excited and haven't looked forward to the start of a season as much as I have in my life!!

Btw, I got us mentioned on BBC Sport 'League Football as it Happened' - check 17:52!
