I personally would have thought that changing a part-time job for another, closer to home and for twice the money shows a certain amount of intelligence. As ive said on another post if any of our players double their income for full time footie, will they get the same stick,hope not. Just hope the club were on the ball and we got some sort of fee.

If any of our players went full time and doubled their money would they get slated like Yates, think not. Im afraid there is no loyalty in football. Clubs at this level only pay players from August-may nothing for pre-season training, travelling, so they cant have it both ways. Discarding a player in May and then expecting him to be back in August fit and ready to go. Think if im honest i think the bigger picture shows we are happy for the time being in this league. Not ready to break the bank for players. Every season starts with 11 players on the pitch that we hope will give 100% til the seasons end, with the hope of glory. Too often this has not been the case. The last two seasons have been sucessful and this, has put our team on the map with our players being sought. Lets thank all the players that go for whatever reasons and hope Lee &Canners can sign players of equal or better ability. I think next seasons team will only have 6 at the most of this seasons players.

Just a thought Yatesy is under 24 so G/Trinity should have paid a fee. Anyone have a idea how much we may have got? Bars - Torres 50 mil---Cully 0 pounds somewhere  in between i guess

Is there any chance of him offering enough money to tempt Pearson or Church. If what Craig is implying (think thats the word) in his tweet,Yatesy has doubled his money. If that is true he will not be the last one going.

Must have been a good day at the races (great Marx bros film) for the players yesterday. Cullys been up to his tricks again posting pictures on twitter and making silly statements. Seems to have got the Grimsby fans talking about Shaun. The heading Two Gimsby signings has had over 1000 hits. Keep up the banter Cully

I think im right in saying Churchy said (in his video interview) it wasnt viable staying with us because we were not full time. That says to me, he would have considered it if we were. He also said he would have to get a full time job or try to pursue a career in full time football . If he gets a full time football offer, that could be anywhere in the country. If the money was enough he would have to move to that location "darn sarf " or not.

Just read Fentys interview in the Grimsby Telegraph today. Hes full of praise for Rob &Paul. He states " they are literate, and can use computers." Blimey thats praise indeed, dont say alot for the previous managers
