"No that must be Sleaths knee between his legs" i said, she wouldnt have it. "No hes keeping the oranges warm for ht" excuse no2. She had a smile on her face and the programme in her hand all game. ;D

The B-Ark / Re: Player of the season
« on: April 01, 2010, 07:44:21 PM »
why are we talking about selling players. We have had a great season so far ,its not ended yet. We will be promoted (playoffs or not) all our players will stay . The managers will add to the numbers and we will finish in the playoffs in the con/north next season. How many teams have better gates in the next div up. Conference football is majority fulltime and our players at uni will struggle to fit in their studies. I know that we shouldnot stop players progressing but this is all a bit premature. Sometimes the grass is not always greener.

The general feeling amongst us using this forum is that its between Pearson and Church. With this in mind how did the contenders play yesterday?. Pearson made a couple of important blocks while Church seem to be singled out for some rough stuff. Pretty even although Church got the away teams MOM. Any thoughts?

I think the one factor in the two poor performances was that Church was missing. He seems to lead by example and motivate the others by his style of play. we missed him against Kendal, and he should be back for saturday. You can guess WP i am a big fan of Church, i think hes been our driving force this season.

Wrong attitude LCB.We should stand toe-to-toe against this team and with the undoubted and unspoken support from the rest of the league put them in thier place, that is 2nd to us in every aspect of football . Better ground, Better support, Better players, Better manager(s) (and a better no6). fight evil with good.

The B-Ark / churchys ban
« on: January 08, 2010, 11:35:46 AM »
With the weather causing cancellations, and with no thaw in sight the fixture list seems to get slightly easier after Retford and Kendal. I think the Retford game will be called off.  With this in mind it may work in our favour that church misses games that on paper seem easier, as i think he will be a loss against the stronger sides and i do think that despite their league position fcum will be a tough game. There is no doubt millie will be a good player but hes not at churchys level yet. Will H&S dip into the loan market or look for permanent additions?

The B-Ark / seen with my eyes
« on: December 27, 2009, 08:14:11 AM »
a referee that was totally inconsistant with hes decisions. I was sitting between the dugout and the 18 yard line, right near where churchy hurdled a knee high tackle for which their player should have been shown a red. The fact he was only slightly caught should not have made no difference. Throw ins that were given to both sides that were clearly wrong . A  handball on the line ( by church) clearly missed .davidson held back by their lanky centerhalf (who would have been 2nd in the footrace) . Two brilliant goals (2and3) quick sharp and clinical.. Mikel getting battered by elbows all afternoon ( totally deserved his standing ovation when subbed) . church seemed to leave the ground with both feet but made contact with the ball and no player, studs up- yes. the cofusion that  followed made it look more than it was and covinced the ref. A totally deserved three points,

NOW WHAT DID YOU SEE WITH YOUR EYES?
