The B-Ark / Re: Sky Bet have not paid out.....

I had £10 EW on Boston  with Bet365 ( Only opened an account as they were offering @ 20/1 so am waiting on £67.50 winnings which will be sent to the club ) With the play offs costing the club £30000 - £70000 every little helps !

At quarter the odds, you'll only get £50 plus your £10 stake back?  Still, every little helps as a certain supermarket would say.

Sky - I can see that York City have been deemed champions of the National League North unfortunately, as the league has been finalised based on unweighted points per game. It has therefore been officially deemed the end of the season, and bets have been settled accordingly. I am very sorry for the disappointment there.

Me - Eh no.  Kings Lynn are champions on points per game....and on the same method Boston finish third....check your facts!

Sky - Okay, sorry about that - please bear with me a few moments.

Sky - Just speaking with the traders about this for you.

Sky - Apologies for that - I wasn't looking at the PPG table. I can see that based on PPG, Boston did finish third, and that your bet was EW, so I have sent this over to them and someone is looking into it now. Should just be a minute or two Pat. Thanks for your patience.

Sky - This is being resettled for you now. The winnings will be in your account shortly. So sorry about that, but thanks for letting us know.

I had an each way bet on us this season - top 3.  Today they have marked the bet as failed?

I'm querying their decision.  Watch this space.

I'm sure Andy would consider an exchange......if you have a mummified foot from Freddy Tunstall lying around?

The longer this drags on the worse it gets?

I assume the National League are awaiting a steer from the EFL regards promotion/relegation or the lack of.  The longer it goes on, the more likely I suspect the season will be null and void.

I assume there will be no relegation in our league as there will no promotions from below, but who knows.  Logic says that all leagues at every level must adopt the same stance for everything to be balanced in terms of numbers.

I've not seen anything from the club on this. I for one, and I hope most people will join me on this do not want any sort of refund.  The club probably needs the money more than me.

Interesting thought......if the EFL is declared void for 19/20.....have Bury fans a reason to be excited?

I think all games will be null and void, and this season will deleted from the record books.

Is there a Duckworth-Lewis-Stern equivalent in football?

We have collected one point out of a possible six.

Or 19 out of a possible 24?

They now have 14 games to play in 56 days or put another way, one every 4 days until the end of the season.....

I counted 385 spaces, 6 disabled and 4 for coaches via the stadium design.

Are the coach spaces solely for the away team and away supporters? Or is there going to be a park and ride bus from Boston Town centre?

Why would you have a park and ride from the town centre when there is a huge car park at the ground?

I understand the Chestnuts are pushing for scheduled bus services to start covering the new homes and the ground.

Who was the loud mouth fat boy idiot shouting the odds at Wilkin after the game, him and Wilkin seemed to be getting stuck in to each other.
I have seen them do it before, quite funny how the chap told Wilkin to jog on when the fat arse himself could probably only run to the nearest burger bar to stuff his fat face.
Fat man should be banned for life in my opinion, not a nice way to promote our club.

Perhaps he just needs to diet - do you know any way he could go from being "chubby" to being "thin"? :-)

MDF, the funny part isn't the people buying the tickets, it's the reaction of the chairman who is threatening to publicly name and shame those he "thinks" are involved in the matchday programme whilst having a reported past of being involved with various nefarious businesses involving alcoholic investments and land with made up planning permission that have alledgedly fleeced the general public of a figure that exceeds any ticket dodgers crime by several added zeroes.
