Indy!  ;)

Check the grassy knoll and the chips and curry  :bunny

Yes i have noticed the indy situation has gone all quiet. Get him in now. When Gary mills came off we had to put our 30 goal a season striker in midfield! Just because we have no one else. We have no plan B either.

Ross's is quality! I can never understand why supporters don't like him! He's like a non league Paul scholes at times! His passing is outstanding, his vision is brilliant to pick out gaps to play the passes, he catches the opposition out when he plays the passes. He is fantastic on the ball and creates time and space for himself when under pressure! Overall he is a great leader! And we have built a team around him. He uses his experience to help his game.

First competitive game is tomorrow so I would chose our suited 3-5-2 formation and pick:

                                                             TIMMS
                                    GALINSKI       PEIRGIANNI          GARNER
       BORE                                                                                                       SANSARA

ROSS              MILLS(if ok to play)    MILNES

                                             MILLER                  NEWSHAM

SUBS:
WEIR DALEY
SANDERS
FAIRCLOUGH
REED
MARSHALL
If there are 7 subs due to it being a cup game then I would add
VINCE
NUTTELL

Think the point to be made is that we have a very strong first 11, but not a lot after the 11

Thats how I read it seeing the comments of those who have done more than just the 1 game which I have got to
But was impressed for the most part against Lincoln, if we can be at that level more often, we'll do alright

I agree with that about us playing against Lincoln. I also thought that with the same team almost but one player against Mansfield, wedding well with the same formation and tactics. I have also found it encouraging that we having trying various tactics out from set pieces.

Yer I didn't explain that well lol. Yer that's a good thing we have a strong 11 but its a bit concerning about the others really. I'm sure we will be for Gainsborough ,I think it was just a bit of a blip game, and we did look tired i thought.

Well we seem to have a strongest starting 11 and then other players who haven't been as quality in pre season, and when we bring them on or start them, we aren't as good. Spriggs didn't play last night, a King Lynn fan told me that he hasn't been playing as well for them in pre season. Last night they had two fantastic wingers, one being Dan Jacobs who Dennis Greene tried to get but St Neots wouldn't let Dennis sign anyone from them in his first year for another team.

I went to the game, Marshall picked up a knock and I think they didn't want to risk him before the season starts so they brought him off. Last night wasn't a good performance at all for BUFC. We started the same players that were brought  on late in the Lincoln game, and after we brought them on at Lincoln we wasn't as good, and this shows that we know who our stronger players, because we started them players last night at Kings Lynn and we was pretty terrible. Also I think playing so many games over pre season didn't help, because the players seemed tired. It was just a blip out of our very good pre season, and I think we just needed a bit of a wake up call before the season starts.

The B-Ark / Re: Indy in Who goes out ?

I know tonight we didn't put out our full strongest 11 like we did at Lincoln on saturdy, but I think we seriously need to get Indy in because we have no strength in that midfield at all. Although we still have Gary Mills to come back Indy would be a great additn to the team. After a fairly good pre season tonight will wake us up a bit ready for Gainsborough, and I think it's almost what we needed, because we can build on the loss and force out the errors as a result.

Not quite sure where Fairclough would fit into the team this season playing 352, not a good enough defender to player on the right of a 5 and we have better options up front in Newsham, Miller, SWD, Bore and Sanders if the game needs a target man.

Agree. Playing the 3-5-2, you really do need energetic, versatile wingers capable of doing jobs at both ends of the pitch. But get it right and have 3 good CMs and 3 solid CBs allied to a decent target man and a goal poacher up top, then you're well in business.
Just a pity those players are easier to talk about than to go out and get them.

But the 3-5-2 is a very adaptable formation, depending on the state of the game

Netan Sansara and Peterr Bore have been brilliant end to end

Very impressed and most fans are! We look much more solid, especially the defence! You can tell that we have replaced last seasons players with more quality ones! Miller can't stop scoring wich is fantastic, and Newsham pops up with the odd goal and has been doing ok. The the defence in general seems better particularly Netan Sansara, he is brilliant full of confidence, and you can tell he's played higher. Timms is also very good, and I think the fans will feel much more confidant with him in goal than Haystead last season. Roast is still class with his brilliant passing and on the ball. Gary Mills seemed a good player when he's played, but he hasn't played many games for us at the moment due to an injury. Peter Bore seems a good player and is ok at right back, and on the wing but he hasn't played up front yet. In general you can tell the players that have played higher are showing it at the moment. All the retained players from last season seem in good form to.
The 3-5-2 formation suits us down to the ground at the moment and have played well with it against Mansfield town and Lincoln city.

I think they should do everything they can to get the lad on board. It's not as if he's knocking on now is it, what is he 25?
If you're reading this Sooty, put a word in for us please!  :D

Totally agree we need to get him signed because plenty of other clubs will have him, plus we will be solid next season if we do! With the way we have been playing we don't need to get a left winger plus fairclough can play on the left, and we can play bore on the right.
