The B-Ark / Re: Suarez....................

There was no way of knowing what who would make the grade.

Really? I seem to remember quite a few on here saying Joachim, Stones and Suarez couldn't score in a brothel. It was fairly obvious imo. Shame our managers couldn't see it!

BUT, as I said, they have now. So fair play to them for admitting they cocked up and taking steps to rectify it.

Indeed. You can knock them for squad assembly prior to the season starting. It has proven to be as some of us feared: that there were too many players who weren't good enough.

However, credit where it's due. The management are trying to atone for those errors by shipping out those players and bringing in replacements.

Hopefully their eye for a player has improved over the last few weeks!

Can I be the first to say: he's not the Massiah, he's a very naughty boy.  ;D

I don't know but fair play to Craig. I asked him on Twitter if Ben Fairclough was the player that'd get us 'flying' or if there was more to come - he said he thinks there's more to come....

Fair play, give the new boys a chance but I can't help feeling they're not players you would suggest would get you flying up the table.

Have others turned us down?  ???

Being blindly optimistic is just as stupid as being blindly pessimistic. If people think the club is not being managed as well as it should be why should they not be able to voice that opinion?

It's a good point you make about supporting the team but I don't think the players were being jeered early on and they weren't much good then either.

What I'm saying is if the players aren't good enough - and several look as if they are not - are we just meant to sit there and pretend?

Based on transfer activity so far I'm guessing it's Paul Cavell  ;D

Keep the faith? Sorry, I never had any faith in these two managers and unfortunately I can't see any reason to acquire any.

Obviously they're hampered by budget to some extent but I'd have thought a scouting network that went further than looking in old BUFC programmes might have helped unearth a few keen young players.

This lot look make Tommy Taylor's side look like Man U.

Or to put it another way - if he couldn't even get in this team, how bad is he?  :dan

The team selection to me seemed wrong, i'm struggling to think of any team in the Premiership who play with two up top, it just never works and it certainly didn't work on Saturday.

You should have put a full stop after the word think. Once you've worked out what I'm getting at, perhaps you should have a chat with Sir Alex Ferguson and tell him playing two up front doesn't work. When you've done, call Harry Redknapp and Kenny Dalglish...

Erm....SWD wasn't signed because we had no cash. JJ was on non-contract terms. Exactly what has been freed up?  :o

He said he will not play for any other club, and helps us out in an emergency. I'd love to see him play up front with Big Jase on Saturday...

Really? That sounds like the slowest, oldest, shittest forward line in the world to me.
