For me the pitch looked great, the stadium looked great, good buzz in sportsbar an entertaining match , a good result and a decent ref, all in all a decent Sat out.

I also went to that game and Kings Lynn players were a disgrace, their number seven pretended to take a late tackle got the town player booked then laid their laughing and giving me and others the v as he ran off, then Gary Bull, absolute top player for about twenty years, got sent off for a player feigning an elbow to the head and all the Lynn players going mental around the ref who bottled it.

My point here is that this type of player causes reactions and actions that would not normally come out of people stroke managers so if our management team lose it occasionaly thats fine by me.

Lets keep this real.Football is about emotion, how many times do  we see Rooney and others having a difference of opinion with the ref, and telling him in no uncertain terms with his lovely phrase of F/O and the cameras pan straight on him.
It is part and parcel of the game, not always ideal but its there.

And the managers for me are spot on so far.

BUFC Pilgrim, whilst I admire your support for Milly,it appears you dont watch to much grass roots football. The Lincs League over the years has had and still does have some quality players in it many who have played in the Amber colours and Boston Towns.

You ever played at that level?

Hes a cock, well done a lot of thought went into that.

Glen was and probably is still a good footballer, and been involved with the game as long as I can remember, and will do well.Remember he is a local bloke played for United and knows the level at which he is managing so cannot see anything wrong with that appointment.

Glen if your reading its Lee H from Freiston i still remember that cup match at FC when you played for York Street United and I played for the Five Bells and you kicked me all over and Chris if your reading you scuffed one in off your shin to win the game one nil. I was gutted.

Lord Cutler it has to be said Town play some quality football, Bobs team get it down and play and if the local press had more interest in them the town would see some decent players there.  eg Hocking, Rowan,Gary Bull amongst others. Not a criticism but sometimes on here we underestimate what we have in the town football wise.

Great day all round great support, brilliant at the end mixing with the players on the pitch.Got to disagree with the fool who said shit ground, are you having a laugh.

Big social club , cheap beer, a club that allows its fans to stand outside with a beer in the hand and mix with the locals, excellent stewards and all round freindly place.

Also at the end the BPA players shaking hands with our fans and their supporters congratulating us in the bar afterwards.Would our home support do the same if we had just lost a play off final, not a prayer.

Great day, and mr chairman had a cue of people shaking his hand afterwards.

Roll on next season, however would be nice if there was a bit of do in the social club so we could go and show our appreciation to the players and management for this season.

For sport Strandard. The target give so little coverage to the local Sat league its unbelievable yet over 500 local blokes play on a Saturday and fixtures are not even in paper.Yet play some rare sport you get better coverage.
