Great game and some awesome performances. Best performance of the season for me and there has been many.  Decent ref as well.  Big big game Tuesday.  Buzzing.

The B-Ark / York Game

Is it me or is it a bit quiet on here considering the next couple of weeks can make or break us a little in terms of where we can finish the season. With York coming to town, and only a few Saturday home matches left we should, and the club should be banging the drum a bit louder to get some momentum in terms of numbers through the gates.

Well done to the Spayne Rd fans who applauded there team in a touch of class for a team that oozed quality nice to see the gesture all to often these things are missed about our support .  As for the three points so chuffed for the squad.  Just shows how we need to compete at the business end of the season   Final word for Crook outstanding I think three absolute outstanding saves plus the routine stuff.

Cannot believe some of things that people get away with time and time again.

We need a reality check. We are a part time club these players have had so many games in such a short period of time some carry knocks and injuries it will take its toll.  We didn’t win but also didn’t lose. Cursing played with ten begin the ball and we just couldn’t get the break. Final word about the ref he should be ringing Jake up to say sorry.  The challenge he took for his injury was a blatant red he was running through the middle and just blatantly taken out by the centre back when the ball was near the corner. Shocking. Big games coming up so we need to get behind them in this tough period.

Wow such criticism first home loss this season. Great support for a team that so far has done well and I’m sure will make the play offs but give it a rest lost to the better team. Up front they were clinical sadly Dayle is not the answer for us.  But not going to slate our team we lost to a team who are on an amazing run and played some quality football and easy on the eye. Spoke to some of there lads in pubs in town they are living the dream and nice to have both them and Kettering as local games to boost the crowds.  So don’t be to harsh.

Until Crook got hurt thought he was class.  Abbott again performed.  Good old fashion derby decent Kettering following made for a great atmosphere. Town end continues to grow in numbers. Good result against an in form team

Well what a disgrace that place is. Was not allowed down the side due to safety numbers but then told I could but if I needed the toilet would not be allowed back in even with kids or elderly in the side part. This was causing massive rows then two bouncers with cameras clearly looking for a bit of action decided to get involved. Then it pourerd down then yep all in no problem. Segregation was embarrassing they know the fans will be come to a derby move the segregation area further down an seperate them further. Crap view  poor stewards.   But a great effort from the support and team. Definite penalty for us near end but ref bottled it.  Won’t spend another penny at that dump.

Had a little look at Dales fans forum some clearly are deluded. They laugh at our away support to some games yet they muster with free travel less that 250 to a game when they could play Newcastle.  They slate the board the manager our pitch their own players. Made me smile.

Look on their fans forum they call us rag tag rovers   Embarrassing we took a thousand they bought 250. That is very poor.  Over Xmas we need to keep a few hundred from tonight and build.

Bit harsh Mel it happens in football everywhere. I’m gutted for all old fans my dad included who sadly will never see another run. But we were never overrun in two games and the club deserves credit for making this an event it wasn’t to be but we should all be proud of the club and fans.

No way was that the support ground was sparsely populated. We had more I’m sure.

It’s not over yet. Remember they went to Man U and gave a decent showing. We need to make York Street horrible for them. First half today we booed there every pass etc and they cocked up non stop we need to do that at home   Biggest game for a generation.  Finally before I flake out. Today was for Sir Newton and Sir Kempster thank you.
