Re Jason Lee couldnt give a toss  line total crap, speak to anyone inside club no one has a bad word about him in terms of how he dealt with everyone and how prepared the players and what he wanted off the field, ive been told by a few he was v v professional. He may not have got the end result whilst here but most managers in any league dont.

Chelsea you need to learn a bit about football. Newsh got himself into at least four goalscoring positions one slip one great save one hit the post and came out and one great block, his celebration after scoring basically said what more did I need to do. The finish was a corker.

Ricky Miller tough game against a huge competent centre back but fair play kept going and great finish. Conor Marshall really growing into that role awsome challege second half against the forward with a free strike. Rossy class in a glass back four solid, Timms efficient.

7 from 9 take that. See you all Monday

Right guys for those that werent there yes it was a foul he got across the defender however the six foot four defender was up and jogging smiling within a minute, yes  the challenge was foolish but lets not put the guy down, young desperate to impress and perhaps a little naive. However come from the reserves non contract lets give him a break.

As for the game, as  results go probably one of the best away performances Ive seen for seasons and at the end of the game the players were over all over to the support which was loud supportive and impressive for ninety minutes.

Stockport great stadium, good food and freindly local pubs, great day out all round.

No there not , but the seasons over so perhaps they are trying a few things out now. I was there yesterday and it wasnt pretty but to do one on Bunny is a cheap shot, i doubt you know much about him and his credentials as  a footballing bloke , but my point is dont dig the assistant if the results are crap surely the manager should get your whingeing first and foremost.

And dont give it am i Bunnys mate, but I am from Fishtoft and drink in his dads ex pup but thats my only connection, I just think we perhaps need to stop the negative crap.

Whats with the anti Bunny issue. Well respected by all reserve set up, passionate about the game and developing the youth, and has played. So give him a chance you dont know what Dennis wants from him.

On a postive note Histon really freindly place from stewards to bar staff and pubs around the place very welcoming

Could be a budget call, The top three might be on top wages, bring in a new guy on less money release some others, extra funding for defenders.Just a thought but looking forward to christmas period fresh start and all that.

KON & NF right you wont like it but ffs yes we have lost and are out to be honest we should have lost Sat. KON you must be some football wizard slagging of JL fans.NF you said we were awful last Tues, once again you werent there. However thats irrelivent we all want success, but facts are facts.

We have a young team, relatively inexperienced, and fairly local and try to play football. We have a manager that doesnt makes false promises and Ive said it before knows the club inside out, if you not sure dont bitch a reply and show yourself up.

Im sure most on here know our budget is below teams below us less than fifteen miles away, with crowds of less than hundred.

So do we get rid, and get someone nasty as NF says what happened last time , say no more , and all you do is bitch the past. If we do new players false promises, big speeches not happening. As for crowds the town is like most clubs struggling, look at crowds everywhere, Lincoln, Grimity. I will continue backing club and manager.

Last Thurs, in clubhouse another top night with a legend, and comedian fuly booked, youth teams doing well, reserve team well supported, look at the bigger picture. Fergie if im right  lost his first five and still there.

NF you werent there Tuesday, they werent pathetic.Played well to a man didnt take chances, missed a chance last minute and a minute later 2-2. Dont judge you werent there.

Today we werent good enough. However at the end instead of booing our team off about fifty supportes applauded the away team off and with gusto, was a very sporting effort and appreciated by the away team and fans, afterwards in the bar good to mix with the away team and fans.

We no doubt will go and win there, but a bad day at the office.

Sorry N/F your posts are now getting on my nerves. Facts are we drew last night to a sucker punch, yes we are in- experienced but have some eager lads the majority of posts last night were positive. As for ex pros doing the job, give it a rest, it matters not if youve played at the highest level. JL knows who plays in the reserves, the academy and speaks to all levels, would S/E , you know the answer. You always have a bitch with the the club whatever the situation.

Tommorow night I will be in the social club enjoying another big footballing name and comedian and food and  bet it will be well supported, over a hundred id imagine and a great night. So for once look at the positives. and before i hear the reasons why you wont go  I know and understand, but we are in transition and will take time, JL for me is ok.

Remember the ref at the Alty match who sent two off, an ruined our FA Cup run, afternoon, and purple patch , well he was the lino who might get Paul Lambert the sack after two shocking deciscions at City at the weekend.
My point being stop looking back and take the positives.

And me Carl enjoyed it. Big strong team against a passing team.In the last minute Newsh misses by a whisker after a great passing move, then we concede against their second serious effort of the half (there first was a cracker ala Ross free kick.) Newsh scores all great we concede and we were holding on.We created several good chances throughout the game and several players could have had mom, Wardy local lad, Stanners local lad, Rossy great player class act, Jones ex Deeping, and man of the match Reedy a schoolkid local lad. At half time applauded off at the end a guy stood next to me and said what a load of xxxxxxxx rubbish I just could not believe it. Anyway had a few in the Red Cow and agreed all round we were robbed in the last few seconds. Some you win some you lose, but no faulting the performance tonight.

Have to disagree with NF the first tackle was full blooded the Alty fullback was favourite to win it but slowed up and eventually went over the tackle and conned the ref, I want to see winners who get stuck in, a little rash but not a red.

The ref spoiled the afternoon for me as it was shaping up to be a great game Alty looked quality up top but we seemed to be holding our own.But after the redcard it changed the dynamics of the tie. But credit to the team as we kept going. Not often I see us lose and go home impressed with how weve done. Final point as for the bench situation its clear JL is in touch with the reserves and how they are doing, Charley Sanders came on and did ok in what was an impossible situation, so credit to JL for that and to give the youths a chance.

I think what hes trying to say is that with reduced wages at this level of football players wont travel so far as the wages dont cut it. Totally agree with Bos Leake JL is forming a squad that geographically makes sense for the travelling to training and budget etc. The team to me is being around youth who may not be good enough to walk away with the league but compete and develop. This isnt the club that can pay players in London a hefty wage to travel to matches and not train with the club like past managers have allowed.

Dont get me wrong would love to see a David Rennie type centre back or an Andy Kirk type centre forward but we are where we are.
