shauneyg you messages over the last few days almost come across if your the manager. For me for several years has been a class act as much as Dowie runs and runs you cannot replace class and his passing range is second to none at this level and a great servant. The majority of the support at all the Bufc  dos i go to speak very highly shame he hasn't been given the chance to be given a decent send off that his loyalty deserves.

I agree , Junior shows some touches that you only see by the top top players and a joy to watch. What im surprised about is that Ben and Rossy haven't had a mention. In twenty minutes they created chance after chance for the team. The first half of the season we played superbly then these two appear to be bombed out and we lost our fluency, keep them in for me. Junior is for next season but that's just my opinion.

It has to be said no mention of Newsh, Ricky ,Garns , have they signed but a massive issue of the young lad.

Man management is the bosses job but no Rossy our main creator in the middle of the park, take yesterday a wonder strike and a last minute pen. We don't entertain like we did two  months ago creating chance after chance has Rossy crossed DG. Junior in the middle what a talent on a sunny day but couldn't get to Barrow as he cannot drive so couldn't get there.

Dowie great energy and attitude but creates nothing in the top third.

I suppose im just saying in a run in like our players need to know whose who on the pitch.

Final point Ricky, ive changed my attitude your never say die attitude has won me over and you deserve the plaudits.

It could go the last day our mini bus is booked.

Vinnos head isnt the problem its DG bully boy attitude to me. He is 17 years old and so far hes been a model footballer and a credit to himself and the club.If he has an agent, who is acting as a career adviser good luck to him.

The B-Ark / Re: Boston United Reserves - time for a change of League?
« on: March 20, 2014, 08:11:35 PM »
Perhaps the club should decide. If we play a reserve side in a league without proper officials lets play in the Boston Sat Prem., as we all know how it goes. The reserves arent a feeder side, with JL a bit more focus was on them as he watched them and put players in there to get fit or have a look at.

Vinno does a great job as hes passionate and committed but you ask lads to go to Cambs etc who are sometimes just kids is to much. They are self funding  perhaps if someone throws money at Vinno, and Aidey and Wardy fair enough, and hopefully they will unearth a gem, but lets not lose the guys who run it for fun who already give 120%.

Lincs League was once a v v strong league and can be again.

Found the game boring. We didn't deserve a win, ref was conned by Ricky. I don't understand why we have been doing so well and then bring in players over Milnes and Rossy. I suppose that's why im not a football manager. Feel for Oxford, whose winger was just pure class.

My only thoughts on a tight match is that Ricky needs to know when to square as opposed to shooting. When we are two or three up he can be greedy up front and rightly so, but chasing the game he needs to put the team first he only had to square it and Newsh and Semps who  were unmarked near the end and we get a point. Not a moan just at times those choices can be the difference.

OXO totally agree Brackley looked a very good outfit, but no major damage done.

NF mostly I agree with you but their number 7 the blond guy kept going and was quality and worked hard and rarely missed a tackle or completed a pass and their number 10 was quality so I don't want to slaughter them to much. Sadly two blokes behind me moaned 2nd half that we didn't press to much second half.....................................................Mel your right know is a great time to be a BUFC fan, just a shame we cannot swap ends at half time if someone can explain that id be grateful.

Geat performance from everyone, and Vinno if your reading this you should be proud Sam was quality.

Great result and good day out.

Thought he did well, for our second he could have blown up as their player was in the box injured, albeit a leg one, many refs would have blown up he didn't so fair play. He could have flashed a few cards but fair play to both teams no dramas.

Black and Yella we could have been four up at half time. For me buzzing fantastic performance , great atmosphere great support, Ricky on fire, great applause at the end.Lets enjoy that and give praise cut the negatives, in the local we were purring at that. Scholeys in midfield awesome.  Happy days.  When we lose at home moan, enjoy the wins.

Fair play to Workington they gave it a great go . two great goals to get them into the game. Cracking game though, second decent referee in two games. Shame about the gate, great to see Semps back.

DL great post. Not once did their keeper launch it long, always played from the back. Twice in the first half possibly three times could have scored. So a decent three points, people think that we are BUFC we should murder teams but its not the case.

The last third of the season will be interesting. If DG sorts his system out we will be there hopefully in the mix, as for the atmosphere we won but you just wouldnt know it.

Left Fishtoft at 10.30 sat in Histon pub at ten to twelve, cosy fire and all. Knew at one o'clock the game was off so our mini bus went to the Peterborough match. Cost to get in £28.00 now that upset us not the weather in Histon.

Makes me laugh how SP spouts his crap, if memory serves me correct his family were very anti dual carriage ways, no out of town retail parks, no new investment by bigger retailers always worried of competition or how anyone can be bigger or better.
Yawn...
