jell Langley your posts are generally negative it's almost laughable.  We go behind and your posts are immediate. I'm guessing you don't see many games live. The facts are results aren't good enough but only one team get promoted as champions the rest fight for scraps and any team from 14 to 7 will always be in with a shout for play offs Look at the posts when we win versus those when we lose it's almost 2 to 1 when we lose. Ultimately Adam gives 100 percent he's a genuine guy does loads behind the scenes. Look at the teams in our league York. Stockport. FCUM and Salford Harrogate it's a league far tougher than I can imagine as a young lad with these big names years ago. So rather than give it the big I am football manager be constructive we are a young team ex pro manager positive chairman support the club instead of being the constant negative mouth. Whether we win or lose I might be pissed off but will always back our club

Can anyone remember when Karl Hawley played against Boston and he had Michael Bridges, formerly Leeds United, up front with him, i cannott remeber the score but we got hammered, and these two I think scored two each, pure class if my memory is right, so Karl might not be all pace now but hes been there and done it so still good to have around the team/bench and management.

Im with you Pete. All doom and gloom lets give it ten games and see where we are then I feel the club is now so much more professional with people who seem very capable and a young squad in the main. Lets not go down the route already of saying hes not got enough, that player should start in front of him etc. The ground looks great, pitch in good nick a very enthustiastic manager who I feel will bring success. Villa have lost all three, should they sack Steve Bruce, Newcastle lost three at the start of last season and got promoted.

Just give it time.

Great result and performance after the first twenty minutes as Nuneaton looked quality from front to back. Referee was quality where normally there would have been three or four yellows without a doubt he relaxed and weighed up the situation.

Funniest moment was the announcement by the PA guy to stay off the pitch and the stewards opened the gates, and a about hundred fans ran on the pitch, well done chief stewards.

I hate to say it but DG phrase of fans showing no class i agree tonight, running over to the well behaved Nuneaton fans , which as a club we have never had any gripe with, was not needed especially as we havent even got into the playoffs.

JB thank you a total legend a shame we cannot have a do in the Sports Bar just for fans as a thank you , albeit I know you had one with players past and present.

On a positive note great game and support from both sides.Hilly again mom for me just as at FCUM.

Finally great night Thursday in social club well done Craig.

Crazy Neil, get a bus out of Lincolnshire. I am neutral on a lot of thinks football wise and have followed the club and football far and wide. Lets keep things real any Premiership games you hear chants out or order, players such as Danny Drinkwater today for Leicester abused the lino today in front of the Sky camera and was foul mouthed and if the lino grew some would have him sent off. However football and life in general means social standards are slipping week by week.

My point being whilst abusing DG partner is out of order and not acceptable its partly down to DG slagging people on social media over the last twelve months. So I dont have an answer other than to say to all the people saying ban them etc get real its a tribal sport, so why dont the masses shout and scream and chant to support the team. This thread should be about our momentum and playing well and nearly hopefully squeezing into the play offs not a stupid nonsense chant by a few.

Lets end this crap thread and focus on a third successive win, a clean sheet and an exciting end to the season.

Whilst I'm not DG biggest fan for football reasons in terms of the turnover of players I think his comment was taken out of context.  FCUM fans were class in all areas the sports bar where they sang songs in unison before the game to the stands and bar under the stand at half time they were as one.  Even in defeat they were behind the team and respected the large number of away fans in their kop end so on this one I think it's all out of proportion. As for coin throwing I was nearish the front and didn't see any coins being thrown. So we should focus on the positive a great away win against a club who I hope get in the conference sooner rather than later.

Forgetting the great result, I have to say well done to FCUM. What a set up, from the great stewarding around the ground and the huge social club offering food (on a plate with a knife and fork) and beer at very cheap prices and loads of staff which meant swift service and for them increased revenue.

The atmosphere in the stand, similar to the town end was fantastic with both sets of fans giving their all. At half time went under the stand to their bottle bar and saw something I have only seen at Premier Clubs hundreds of fans who were their just for a beer (like a social club) singing and chanting and take the pxxs out of us few Boston Fans in their at the time, what a laugh and all in good spirit.

After the game in the social club some more singing and chanting and humour all well received. When we left so many hand shakes and best wishes it was like leaving a mates birthday party. Great day great place and people.Well done FCUM.    Nearly forgot great result.

To much to say. First of all to  the away team and as a club-great respect to the supporters who went in the Sports Bar before during and after the match,I know it's tribal to support your team but some of our chants were funny as in we can see you sneaking out,yep to the sports bar yet our crew didn't. The minutes silence applause was emotional I know a few of Luke's family came for that and were so grateful for a massive level of respect. The two sets of fans fantastic it was like it used to be in the conference the referee was decent not card happy could have sent the keeper off but didn't and I was so impressed as it could have been an easy red non fussy but fair. As for the game they weren't the best but worked hard for the whole match and we deserved to win.  Man of the match could have been Scholsey Pidge Mills Marrsy or Dale or Robbins but for me Jonesy looked a new player taken some grief this season but looked class.  But to some up the day the club as a whole were back to were we used to be

Would love to but at the do the night before with twenty from the local in Fishtoft, to see Phil Thompson.

Sorry to be negative, but thats £42 a ticket plus raffle, heads and tails and taxi there and back plus booze so a £100 quid touch, surely this next event could have been arrangedat adifferent time but certainly not on consecutive nights.

As much as myself and a few others would like to attend both its just not going to happen, massive shame, and perhaps poor planning.

Garry, Dowie tried five switches in the first half all failed to meet the player. To sum it up for me without Scholesy we had no one to create, and were beaten by a very good team. Sadly despite our players best efforts we have no cohesian. But applauded our guys off but this season is going to be a struggle.

Three thousand people watched and enjoyed an afternoon they won't forget. Great atmosphere around the pubs in town great expectation. Tense match in control the ground rocking thirty seconds to go then a total worldly amazing goal if sky had it it would be repeated every five seconds. The pens went against on the toss of a coin our players Pidge and Garns missed and we lost.  Well done Chorley and fans quality.  Tonight I've heard their number 9 was an animal totally disagree great battle him and Pidge who embraced each other before penalties that's how it should be. Support today was outstanding second to none three fans in Coach after the game as we couldn't go in Sports Bar as private function was on tonight which I think was a total Pr Cock up of a magnimous degree said what a great club support and fan base we have they didn't gloat just happy to be part of a great day.  So in summary good luck Chorley in the final. Been a great season luck wasn't on our side . Thanks Dg and Bunny and Sir David.

The B-Ark / Today's Game

Excellent performance for me from start to finish. Created great chances in the second half and their keeper kept them in it and a worldly from Garns thunderbolt. Messiah looked quality first half albeit with limited amount of the ball and Felix looked quality in the second half and the team looked like energy all over the pitch. Have to say it well done done Den as it's finally clicking all over the pitch. Final point excellent referring today not to fussy took the conditions into account ten out of ten. We didn't get what we deserved but not for the lack of effort or commitment.

Excellent food and service, interesting speech by Ossie who clearly having been there and done it was an excellent measured speaker, as for the comedian absolutely hilarious, brilliant night.

I think Craig deserves great credit these events are nearly always sold out and excellently supported I think last night 140 odd  were there, it goes to show that despite these nights being a fairly expensive overall night out, tickets £42 ,raffle, bar taxis to and from the do if the quality is good people will pay, so well done Craig, caterers and bar staff.

Not sure how Hewitt will be number 2 unless you mean whilst Vinno is suspended. Hewitt I know was well thought of in the reserves and competent but young Sam has stepped up and played quite a few games now so how someone can overtake him in the pecking order when never played at this level seems a bit strange that one.
