Reading today that only two nations in the EU are net contributors UK and Germany.  The rest are benefactors.

Is this true?

If so no wonder the rest of Europe want us to remain.

I was on holiday last week and was very surprised about he amount of people I spoke to that wanted to remain.

Most were quoting the bumf that is being put out about how we will return to the dark ages if we left.

Obviously they were not living in a small market town with the amenities for 50,000, and a population of a hell of a lot more.

I did see in one of the papers a spot the difference.  Two pictures of farmers campaigning to remain.  One picture was Surry farmers with a placard and the other was Kent farmers.  Guess what?  They were the same farmers.

He is talking about how well Britain would do if we left the EU.

Good luck to Lincoln in their local derby fixture next season. The only time I'll be supporting them. 

You have to feel for Linscum, lose one mega money Derby, and gain another , Will they let NFU have the full stand for their 75 supporters?

We are DOOMED   The IMF has joined the debate.  House prices will crash, interest rates will go through the roof and the pound will plummet.  Vote leave and the fires of hell will envelope the whole country.  The Stay campaign are trying to scare the public into voting in their favour.  The trouble is some of the don't knows will vote stay just because of the fear factor.

Ferriby are promoted. Embarrassing that a club so poorly run and with such poor facilities is now one promotion away from the league.

Except they won't get in the Football League with their facilities. There's not even enough room to add in any extra stands, plus they won't be allowed to organise a groundshare.

Do they have enough space to upgrade to Nat Con by next March ?   Extra seating and increased ground capacity is required surely .

One rule for one and one rule for another, I am afraid.  If it was Boston we would not be allowed to go up.

I'm back, after a cancer operation that went badly wrong and a near death experience. However, I am fit enough to vote out on referendum day. After serious consideration, I stick by every word in my previous post, but I can think of a downside which we must be prepared to face. Some small European importers may not wish to buy our products if the EU impose tariffs against us. In turn, we can retaliate buy imposing tariffs of our own and a short tariff war may occur. Sadly, this may result in the loss of jobs for a small number of our citizens. With a heavy heart for those few, I stand buy my intention to vote out, because I believe that we will quickly regain our sovereign status and become a major exporter on the World stage. My opinion is based on a considerable period of studying facts and seeing the reality of the situation, and ignoring the silly comments made by politicians. For those who still wish to vote to stay, I say you are condemning future generations to subservience to European powers such as Germany and France, unless, as I believe, the EU will collapse in a few years or even months. If this happens, we will be dragged, financially into the same mess as the rest.

Look for the facts behind the rhetoric that is being spouted and don't fall for the garbage about the EU preventing war. Our fathers and grandfathers fought and died in Europe for freedom, not a European Union. It is this very freedom which we are now fighting for when we mark our ballot papers. Out means the sovereignty that they really fought for. Let's get out while we can. The chance may never come again.

I have had a night to sleep on the result, so hopefully this is an unbiased opinion.

Yet again we have been let down by the officials, it seems every important match we have, we have to play 12 men, and yesterday 13.  I do not know if you noticed but the home fans applauded every decision by the ref, as if they knew they were getting the rub.  The officials had a hand in all the goals.  The first was a VERY DODGY penalty.  The second was a corner from a free kick that should have been awarded to us. The third was after Nat Brown was laid out by yet another elbow. This is after the Jeremy Beadle lookalike ref on Wednesday, who was instrumental in us only having a 2 goal lead. I have said it once and I will say it again, we are still carrying the stigma of the Evans era.

I think the players had the stuffing knocked out of them by the bad decisions yesterday and it reflected in the way they played.  They were never at the game.  Why oh way do we play the high, long ball tactic against one of the biggest teams in the league?  It does not work, it proves that after the three defeats we have had against them this season.

It is the first time I have been to that ground, how can that be up to any kind of standard?  Never mind league standard.  Only one entrance and exit.  No segregation, you could see trouble was going to start.  I agree with OXO name and shame get the trouble makers banned, we are always going to be given an hard time by officials if we cannot get rid of the nasty taste of the Evans era and hooligan fans is not going to help.  If anyone else saw the game different please comment.

Very poor ref,or very bias ref.

Either way he gave us nothing. We get booked for minor infringements, they got away with thuggery.

How did we not get a penalty in the first half?

We seem to get this type of ref whenever we are in a play off.

Do we have the same Jeremy Beadle lookalike ref on Sunday?

But very well done to all the lads.

And to Pidge and Brown who had the Thug Denton in their pockets all match.

Can Pidge play after concussion or does he have to have a statutory time off?

Too late !!!   as Dipdodah will testify I took the decision to stop tipping 40 years ago .
