The B-Ark / Season tickets
« on: May 27, 2022, 05:14:49 PM »
Season tickets go on sale 7th June.  Early bird prices till June 30th. No increase in the price. With one extra game to be played at home ( I think ) we have actually received a reduction.  I presume this is DN's way of thanking the fans.  Top man.

Top forum, by far the best. Thanks Ken keep up the good work.

To be honest Pete, I would not be disappointed if he left. I know it's a strange thing to say about our leading scorer, but he frustrates me a lot of the time.

I've had a night's sleep and my mind is clearer this morning.  This is my take on yesterday's game.  I am not blaming the referee for yesterday's defeat, but the first goal came from a mistake by the referee ( last time he reffed us did the same for Gateshead goal ).  I thought we worked hard, but lacked anything in front of goal.  Did we have a shot on target?  Their keeper did make a save to his right, but I thought it was going wide. I thought Elliot had a poor game, a couple of times a ball was put through and he failed to run onto it. We should have had a penalty late on when Hanson headed the ball and one of their players handled.  They had a game plan and nullified Seriki, who I thought also let the occasion get to him.

Despite the result, I really enjoyed the day. Most of the York fans were okay, even the woman who shouted insults then flashed at us :) Thought their ground was cobbled together, their home end was just a lean to. For next season, I think we need a striker to help Elliot, Wright is injury prone and has spent a lot of time on the sidelines the last two seasons. Anyway I am proud to support the team and the club and look forward to next season.

One game too far.  I thought we were shot shy
But a big thank you for the last two weeks. Some nice derbies next season.

I've managed to obtain a ticket now for tomorrow by blind luck, so I will be using my stupidly expensive tickets after all!

Pleased to hear you have a ticket

Cracking match, cracking support and I  must say cracking referee. Unlike the idiot we had against them at home, he did not fall for their diving and cheating.

To a man the team have been outstanding these last two games.  I go to York with optimism. I thought Paul Cox got his tactics spot on, and bringing on Jake Wright as an impact sub was genius. Whatever the result on Saturday, I would like to say you have made an old man very happy
 Come on you yellows.

I very rarely criticise refs but last night's made some really poor decisions, including two that were so blatant they left you wondering how he ever passed his training. Still, forget the ref: what a brilliant BRILLIANT performance. The energy levels were next level and the fact we went toe-to-toe with a full-time outfit for the entire game with no noticeable gap in fitness levels was just mindblowing. Kidderminster showed only flashes of what they were capable of - the Hemmings goal was a corker though, you could only admire it - but Boston never let them settle into any kind of rhythm, pressed them incessantly and looked a constant threat on the break. Marcus Dewhurst's wonder save was one of the highlights of the night for me. Boy, he's a talent.

The only sour note of the night: Kidderminster's new catering is woeful. Bring back the pies!
I had forgotten about that save. It was world class .

I am still buzzing from last night. It was a game we thoroughly deserved to win. I fear we will  be tired for the semi final on Sunday. Also our injury list gets longer. But one thing I am now sure of, is the team will give 100%.Anyone else thought the referee was inconsistent last night? He seemed to let things go, but then book someone for next to nothing ( usually one of our players). Well done lads see you Sunday.

On my way, not seen any supporters yet. I don't mind losing as long as we give it our all. Good luck lads.

I think that Farsley may have a dodgy turnstile  ;) seemed a lot more there. Talking to a Farsley supporter he thought well over a thousand.
