In betting terms i see us more as a 20-1 shot, thus should be around the top 10. And to me, if we achieve that then i would be happy in terms of improvement.  Would love to see some answers off N40 , who keeps getting questioned as to what indeed would make him happy !  Over to you N40 ??

managers that do, wind up opponents and win things. look at fergie for one. gets at officials, ruffles feathers in the opposing camp before games. its all good fun to me. all part of the entertainment factor.

can i just say if you think the boston fans started the touble yesterday you are completely wrong. It was after gainsboring scored that this happened, unless you are blind you would have seen their 'fans' come running towards us and open the gate and get a few of our fans through. As for the fans that went through at half time, it just shows what a joke your tinpot ground is. How do you think you will cope IF you go up? I feel personally the segregation only made things worse as the gainsboring fans were all hard nuts until one of them open the gate and they all ran away. I will say the same as last year, dont start something you cant handle. We were just having a good day out and having a few beers, absolutely nothing wrong with that!

it was gainsborough fans who rushed the gate and opened it. i was stood about 15 ft away from the gate and did see it all happen. this gainsborough fan threw punches and then it was a few fisticuffs and handbags. i don't condone such things but for a gainsborough fan to come on here blaming us boston fans is disgraceful !  maybe he should focus on his own fans, and his clubs pathetic segregation and patrolling it.

Apart from 3 or 4 games this seasons i have not seen any player apart from 2 maybe 3 that dont fall in the 3 legged donkey slot

we have the players, i've never doubted this. what we don't have is the passion, the heads up when we go 1 down or the basic's of positioning  and team play.  i personally think we are missing 2 quality wingers this season who can not only take people on one on one, but are good at set pieces too.

well despite all those rumours that the game would be put aside for the trophy it seems we are set to take on the money bags this weekend.   this was on the offical gainsborough page...F A Trophy 4th Rd Gainsborough Trinity v Gateshead or Barrow to be played Tuesday 5th February 7.45pm
(If Gateshead v Barrow is a draw then replay would be Tues 5th Feb with the 4th Rd tie being played on Tuesday 12th February).
all other games as per fixture list .
so lets all head there with monopoly money in hand, and silence the few hundred "home/lincoln" supporters.
