HOLBEACH won that leage under CHAND last season and with very little money,then I believe they found out they could not afford to go up    so spalding will want someone with deep pockets again next season me thinks,  if they make it that is   there will be some egg on faces if they don't  thats for sure.

According to the Free Press (a local Spalding paper) there were only 156 supporters at their game on Saturday!!!   So someone is chucking silly money at them   It'll all come crashing down sooner or later.

Holbeach couldn't go up due to ground grading so i believe.  And 156 is up on recent months by 40, if they continue to win as they are doing that will further rise. I am not a fan of teams trying to buy promotion, but it happens at all levels of football and if someone wanted to put millions into the Pilgrims, would we moan about it ? Good luck to Spalding i say, be nice to see them bigger than Gainsborough, not that that would take much doing, lol.

Barrow and Brackley just going into extra time in the FA cup, this is in our advantage i would think and hope Brackley players will feel it after the long journey plus the extra playing time.

Couldn't fault anyone out there today, it was a proper team performance. Timms once again proved his worth with excellent commanding , and this thing with the transfer listed is only a kick up the backside. He'll be off it in weeks. As for the Ref, thought he was fair to both teams . Alty are obviously used to bossing referees and today they never got their own way. I did notice on several occasions players of theirs running up to the Ref's face to complain. Walshaw would have joined in, but spent the best part of the game on the deck, lol.  Anyone remember a game that had 5mins extra first half, and again second ? Because i can't from recent years.

before making judgements, lets just see how things unfold between now and saturday !  no disrespect to young vince but am not sure he is up to conference north standard yet, so we need someone in.  and at this point in the season all the good keepers are tied up.

Our players were out at 3.59, it was 4.05 when Harrogate appeared so you can't blame our team for that.  I think it was mind games deployed by Weaver to leave us waiting outside then our minds wasn't as pumped as it was coming out of the tunnel.

SANSARA should not have come on he was not in the same frame of mind having being used to starting.

I don't get your point here. So what you are trying to say is that anyone that has played in the previous game and find themselves on the bench the following should not be brought on ?  really ??  We would soon find ourselves with players leaving if that was the case. Its a team game, those on the bench are as much geared up for the day ahead as starters.

Spot on !! Timms is by far the best keeper we have had for years, nothing he could have done about the second.  The sending off, debatable as it looked like the other players head was down when he went in. Yes the foot was high  but i have seen these given as a 50/50 before. Thought the ref for the second time in just over a month ruined it for us with some very poor decisions. That said, we should be closing out games when three up at half time.

I don't get how people can come on and moan about Timms... he's made ONE error all season. He had no chance with either of the goals, yes he was getting fussy about the balls and I'd wonder if his mind was really on the job 2nd half and by those accounts that he left the scene sharpish, then that's not good, but to say he should've got the 2nd, I don't know what you're on

Had he had to encounter abuse from some "fans" though Josh ??  We know what some muppets can be like in and around our ground or on here,  we shouldn't be abusing players. Instead we should focus every bit of emotion into pushing the lads on.  Felt the atmosphere fell flat from half time though and that don't help the lads !!
